I like the packaging, the drive looks very sturdy and will made. Read Write speeds are acceptable for gaming and business but the Pro drives by Samsung are faster for those who do video processing. Extra cost of course. I was disappointed that I did not see any cloning or partitioning software with this drive. Most people will want to use this to clone a laptop drive and replace there slow physical hard drive. I already own Acronis so it was not an issue. Amazon delivered this the next day when I ordered it, even after I had a problem with the card I used and had to change my purchase source. That is fantastic customer service and why I always turn to Amazon when I can. The real distribution masters of logistics. I would love to work for people like these.

It is no surprise that SSDs are the ideal storage for gamers. They are only exceeded by a 10gbit NAS solution and that is quite probably outside of your budget. The fact that you can get so much storage capacity with such fast transfer speeds at a reasonable cost, makes a truly amazing gaming experience reachable for many of us. In my particular case, 2 of these were bought and set as RAID0 for 2TB of super fast storage. Game loading times are no longer moments to go get a drink. The 860 QVO is a very reliable SSD. Theyve been running nearly 24/7 on a Ryzen build for nearly 3 years now. Absolutely recommended.

My factory installed hdd in my PS4 recently went out on me. After doing research I finally landed on this. This hard drive has made my PS4 run like it is brand new and saved me a lot of hassle. Easy install in the PlayStation as well.

I got this on the mail in a week after i ordered it (I think Covid delays were bad at the time) but one i had it installation took 10 min. after watching a video on how to format it (another 5 min) it was all set up. it has worked great and now doubled my storage capacity.

I installed it in an old computer...very easy job and it works great!
