Im a videographer I use this for my black magic cinema camera 6k it’s easy to use and easy to drop info off as well. Just unplug from camera and plug to computer while still mounted on the camera.

Really enjoy the size and ease of use of this product. Bought it for high-speed video recording to a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K and with the new BRaw 3:1 file format it happily clocks in 4K DCI at 60fps.

Basically Im happy with this 1TB SSD - I have other 500GB Samsung SSDs - I consider the price for the 1TB too high (I misread the advertisement) and the transfer speed is far less than specified - that said, the long term life and reliability will tell whether these SSDs are worth the money

Failed on first use. I have not reached out to the seller because the return period is way past. I needed external hard drive storage for photographs. This is junk.

Great for recorded movies and tv shows for when you are off line. extremely portable at a great price.

made 2 Fat32 partitions

The T5 did not work when tried to enable security and update it. I allowed it through my macs firewall but no change. Samsung says to reinstall it by looking for the cleanup files, but they are not there.

Using this with a 2019 Mac laptop for editing on Final Cut Pro. Basically it was plug and play. Dumped the 2 apps that came with it. No formatting needed. No overheating with this unit. Cables are decent and fit into my Mac without a glitch. Got about 70 hours on this. So far so good. Will revise if this should fry in the next few months :-)
