Simple Houseware 43-Inch Heavy Duty Garment Bag w/Pocket for Dresses, Coats

I was out of town for the weekend and thought this would be a lightweight way to go. I packed three outfits, my cosmetics bag and a pair of booties. The material felt a little flimsy and upon arriving at my destination I found a small rip in the top left side.

I like the design, but material craftsmanship is pretty bad. Material tore around the hanger-hole by the second time I had used it, the main zipper fell apart by the third, and one of pockets zippers just did the same on the fifth. The clothes inside typically come out looking like I didnt spend that morning ironing them all as well (I use the handles and fold in half, which it seems designed to to) (read: they come out wrinkly if used in this manner). If all youre doing is hanging things in a closet and not being active with it (Im in a touring band, so it gets thrown around a bit), then youll probably be fine, just dont get aggressive with it. Wish the material was sturdier, and the zippers as well. Ultimately, not worth the price paid and can not recommend given I havent even gotten a month of use out of it before its all but completely failed.

Very displeased with this purchase. The material is very thin, and the hole at the bottom of the bag that can be looped through the hanger to fold in half broke off within five minutes of using the product. Would absolutely go with another product and another material.

Great travel bag. Holds up well. Suit, dress shirts, formal cocktail dress and my dress shoes all fit it.

Used this to transport 2 formal dresses, my husbands suite and sons suite. Held up well for it to be transported on and off the boat with other luggage. I did not use any of the storage pouches on the front. I wish it came with something that would tie around the clothes hangers to keep them from falling down inside, but I just used a rubber band and used the top strap to tie around them. Will be using for future trips, and will update if needed.

Generously sized! I’m 5 feet. The garment bag was as tall as me and has a enough width to fit multiple garments. The web handles are “clutch” for folding and transporting items easily, either as a stand alone feature, or hooked to luggage. Can’t wait to use it! I gave 4 stars where items have not been tested yet, however, I anticipate Quality craftsmanship in these areas as well.

This bag is a very thin lightweight material that will probably not last. I was expecting something sturdier. This has the papery shopping bag feel to it. It is larger than expected and billows out when trying to fold to carry to performance. I will use it for storage but not for travel to dance events.
