They started out great but over time they have started acting up. I turn one off and it turns a different one on. Scheduling on-off times has become a major issue as the time doesnt align with actual time and I cant get them to sync up to real-time. I would hope that they would be less problematic but sadly these units are turning out to be a bust. I have 8 and they are all starting to flake out.

Basically anybody can make on of these at this point, so make sure you just find one brand that has good support if you ever have an issue, and so you dont end up with tons of crappy apps on your phone. Im like 6 emails into a problem, and I wish I had just thrown the thing away immediately. It would have been a better use of my time.

So while these are small and space saving yadda yadda, they were pretty hard to set up. My hubs is super tech savvy & they even gave him a bit of a run for his $. They eventually worked in the end (as all crappy off brand smart home things do) but it was a biyotch.

They had worked flawlessly since Dec 2019, but when we switched from Xfinity to ATT Wireless this week (May 2022) they could not be reconnected despite following the Teckin procedures. Like other reviewers we used them for Christmas lights and lamps. Downloading the Smart Life app was easy and connecting each smart plug to the network went well. The plugs were recognized by Alexa and their use was well integrated in our home, with schedules for auto on and off.

Complete waste of time. App doesn’t sync the device on an IPhone 14 Pro, it’s not gonna work on anything else.

They are Teckin smart plugs…..best out there in my opinion. I’ve replaced all of my smart plugs with these. They have a “ circulate” function when used with Smatlife app which I find very useful. No other plugs Ive used have this feature. WiFi connection is also robust

Paired with the Smartlife app, these work great for wireless control of your house. You can set multiple timers for the same plug and they work great with Alexa.

I recommend going with a name brand. These are cheap and a few worked but the majority of the ones I got (8 total) will not even connect. Really frustrating.
