Great product for the prince

I bought a four pack of this product from Amazon a year and a half ago and it has worked fantastic up until the last weekend. One of the plugs would turn off and then after about 30 minutes turn back on this one on for about an hour and a half until I decided to check on it. When I grab the plug to unplug it it was so hot it just about burned my hand. I’m just really lucky it didn’t start a fire. The problem is is that this company is no longer with Amazon. They change their name and added the word home to the end of it and now they’re selling this new product. I contacted Amazon and let them know that this is not right and that there should be a recall on these items. I have not heard back from them and I can’t get a cut on contact with a company. Just be careful if you have them in your house because I don’t think it’s covered under your insurance if a fire is caused by . I would love somebody to get in contact with me, but that obviously hasn’t happened yet

Every once in a while, well tell Alexa to turn off a light and she cant find it. We end up powering it down manually and then re-starting it and Alexa is fine after that. On the whole, though, they work. Weve been able to automate most of the lights in our living space with these plugs or smart bulbs. Were pretty pleased except for the occasional Alexa brain fart. UPDATE: its been a month since we ordered these and theyre not working properly. Weve tried turning them off and on, re-synching them with Alexa, and they just wont cooperate. Were returning them.

Could not get the plugs to link up to the app. I returned the item.

Overall the product works as it is described. I would love to give 5 stars but the app to control the modules works slow if you are turning on/off multiple lights etc once you turn one off it goes off right then, but then the app takes 30-60 seconds to refresh itself to move to the next module so you can control it. If the app was more user friendly definitely 5 stars.

Ordered the first set - one had no power, the other had power but would not pair to our 2.4g wifi. Ordered replacement set the same day, & they arrived the next day - both had power, but neither of them would pair to our 2.4g wifi. Complete waste of time and money. Returning both sets.

Most important - easy setup. App works well for my needs. I used them to turn a fan on and off at a specific time and also have the setup to turn off at sunset.

Bought 4 of these. They were great at first, easy to connect and use. One of them stopped working not long after. After that there was a firmware update that took 2 more offline and I havent been able to get them to reconnect ever since. So now Im down to 1 working plug that I declined the firmware update on. Would not buy this brand again

They are not easy to connect to Alexa. You have to down load another program and they try and link the two together I stopped using them as I could not get it to all con ect waste of money.

These things do not work after the nightmare setup procedure. Junk product. Dont waste your money.
