Greater than one weekEasy to use and fool proof design. Made it simple to check all the outlets for a new house the we purchased. Actually was able to find several outlets that were wired incorrectly and able to get seller to repair then before the closing on our pre closing inspection.

Greater than one weekAbsolutely flawless receptacle tester that is childlike-easy to use and performs exactly as described and intended. * Includes a button to also test GFCI outlets as well as standard 125V outlets. * Simple light indications advise proper outlet function or issues * The unit will show outlets that have bent interior connections when initial indications show no power but do when the Tester is wiggled. (Replace the outlet!) * All light error codes are listed on the unit itself for easy reference. Perfect, small, yet highly effective and affordable Receptacle Tester. Clearly an easy FIVE STAR rating along with my honest and hearty recommendation...especially at the tremendous value price on Amazon. Test ALL the outlets in your home or office. You may be surprised!! *If you found my review helpful to you, PLEASE let Amazon know by clicking the HELPFUL button below!

> 3 dayWith two work sites and two tool boxes, I decided to get another outlet tester. At $9 this Southwire is a good value these days. Easy to use - just plug it in. Two yellow/orange lights means good. Red or any other combination means something is wrong. However in daylight it can be difficult to see which orange/amber is lit.
