This is a good tester aside from the fact some readings may give false positives. It told me i had hot/ground reverse when i really had a missing neutral.

This tool does what it is designed to do. Read the design parameters. This is a basic tool....detects common defects. Keep in mind that poorly installed electrical systems can have a baffling combination of errors. If the solution to your problem is not immediately apparent...seek qualified help!!!

Not sure how accurate this really is. Plugged into an outlet that definitely was ungrounded and it didnt give the proper lighting config for that. Its a good first reference but I wouldnt rely on it solely.

What can I say, it does what is supposed to do. I recommend it. One problem only: The little printed or painted squares showing the result are super little so if you dont have 20/20 vision anymore you will need your glasses. For that Im giving it 4 stars.

Does the job

Very well made easy to use. Yes, highly recommended and would buy again. Really easy to view the individual lights.

Saved the price of this unit 10 times over on the first job with GFI problems.
