Stanley STA033726 Fatmax Tape Blade Armor, Dual Scale, 8m Length

The blade is so strong you can deploy it horizontally for about 5 metres before it touches the floor! Brilliant for awkward jobs. Also very easy to read as it is so wide.

Its a good tape and fairly priced as you usually pay well over twenty pounds for this type of tape. So I do recommend it.

Best tape there is. Very strong less likely to need another person to hold the other end. Have bought several over the years either 5m or 8m. But the 5 is a better size the 8 is huge

Chunky and useless in the workshop unless working on big jobs

This is quite a chunky measure. The main advantage of this is the blade can be held out to about 2M before it snaps flat making measurements across a wall easier. The blade has a separate lock, rather than the auto lock of more recent designs, but gets the job done. The markings are large and easy to read too.

Sturdy device for double minded imperial/metric....

If you are a carpener this is the tape for you. It is strong with a wide blade and will take the constant use of a pro carpenter. This is my second Fatmax, my last one lasted over two years. Came to my door well packed and on time.
