Good solid product - monumentally stupid packaging - you shouldnt have to spend several minutes slashing away at plastic to get access

Bought an 8 metre pocket tape. I wouldnt really call this a pocket tape, as youd have a big bugle in your pocket if you took this around. However, it is a great sturdy measuring tool, its accurate too from my checks.

perfect to replace a 10 year old Stanley measure that finally gave up on me, nice and wide, easy to read and doesnt bend too easily when extending, not a lot else to say really!

I do a lot of DIY and use a tape-measure most days. I have used all sorts of brands over the years, from expensive through to tapes from the pound shop! This is one of the best tapes Ive ever used though - very smooth in and out, very solid lock and the perfect size - can fit into a pocket easily, but at the same time not too small as to be fiddly and unusable. I would certainly buy another Stanley, but the build-quality of this tape is such that I highly doubt Ill need to buy another one for a very long time!

Does what it should

Simple and easy to use, with clear markings. Just be careful when letting go of tape which has been extended out since it does wind back quite quickly I reserve the right to revisit and edit this review as appropriate after further testing of this product

Its a decent quality tape measure for the price. However, it doesnt have a magnetic tip or auto lock feature which i like a lot. But that was expected.

Excellent tape measure, very strong so you can measure up to 3 or 4 meters horizontally in the air before it bends. 8m is plenty for me, I usually use 6 meters or less.

This is a very nice measure. However, in my view it does seem to have one or two flaws. The main one being the pocket or belt clip. I strained the very small clip getting it away from its packaging. So, I had to take it off and reform it. It now works OK. I do though think the clip could be a little more in line with the rest of the tape measure. The other thing that would be nice on a measure like this, is a magnetic end tag. Even some of the cheaper tape measures have a magnetic end tag. Just a thought really.
