Added bonus of longer tapes is that they are generally wider and therfore more sturdy at extension. This version is no exception. Very pleased with it.

Have tried a lot of the more expensive Stanley/Milwaukee etc. Keep going back to this. Best value for money tape out there

Of course, its a tape measure, it measures things and with it being Stanley, it is pretty accurate in the measurements taken with it. Having a Tylon coating on the tape allows for smooth movement both in and out of the tape, but it also protects the numbers from being scratched off over time. My problem with this tape (and this is probably my fault for using it in such an environment and most likely all tapes do it), but when used outside to measure bits for a patio, etc. the tape got bits of dirt and grit on it, causing it to jam and not letting all the tape go in if the grit/mud isnt cleaned off properly. Overall I think it is a great product, just as long as it is used in the appropriate environment and is looked after appropriately.

Cant beat Stanley pocket tapes - inexpensive, last forever, do the job. I only had to buy this one as someone walked off with my last one (15 years old).... unless it eloped. I guess that could have happened (come back baby, alls forgiven!)

This is a very nice tape measure to use. Because it is a little wider than most it is a little stiffer so easier to use on your own when measuring a long length. Very quick delivery.

Does what I need

perfect to replace a 10 year old Stanley measure that finally gave up on me, nice and wide, easy to read and doesnt bend too easily when extending, not a lot else to say really!
