A bit larger than my previous but way sturdier.. you can definitely drop this with no worries. Also strong enough that you can roll it out to 2 meters in the air before it bends. Has inches and cm. the front bit covers c 3 cm. which is a little annoying cause it’s a little harder to see the measurements there vs my previous.

This has been a really useful and sturdy tape measure. We found it particularly useful when viewing many houses, where it was just right for measuring the sizes of rooms.

Added bonus of longer tapes is that they are generally wider and therfore more sturdy at extension. This version is no exception. Very pleased with it.

A quite large, very sturdy feeling, well built, heavy tape measure. Perfect for when you need to ascertain how far away two objects are, or indeed, where to place an object in relation to one, two or even three others. So far I have measured several different distances and have no reason to question its accuracy.

Excellent so far. I do regular work estimating carpet requirements in customers homes. So I need a tape measure that lays straight and can be securely locked. This is excellent; some other Stanley models are not as good as this one. Some tape measures dont lie straight and flat along the floor, and some do not have a locking device to keep them open and in place along the floor. With others, the lock slips so that the tape slowly rewinds along the floor - very irritating for me. I bought four of these and I shall be interested to see how long each one lasts. As they say, no one solution lasts for ever.

Lightweight, easy to use ; not to bulky. Would defiantly buy again..... not sure when, as I think it will last forever!!

perfect to replace a 10 year old Stanley measure that finally gave up on me, nice and wide, easy to read and doesnt bend too easily when extending, not a lot else to say really!

Very good mid-range tape. Does the job it is meant to, very clear and precise. Had many of these tapes and will continue to use.
