Tamper resistant seal was broken on arrival. Disappointed given price point.

I wish this filter did not have mercury, and that the price was lower. It works but is very expensive.

The 648 PRO G does not use an air freshener.

Works fine in my sub zero fridge. Easy install. Don’t listen to those people who complain about noise when the shake it or dust. That’s the carbon particles mo moving around inside, and sometimes creates dust on the outside, although I didn’t find any dust on mine

These were dead on arrival. We ordered two and one of them had bits of glass on the outside, as if the glass bulb inside broke. Both filters were broke. Do yourself a favor and order parts from an official Sub Zero distributor or directly from Sub Zero. Go on their site. I ordered the same filters from an official major east coast parts distributor and they worked.

I read previous reviews about the inside being broken glass, thats the filter. I removed the existing filter that was installed in the factory and it was the exact same. Saved $ compared to ordering direct

This is one of those products when you need it, you buy it. It is overpriced but necessary

I was a little worried about installing this on my own but it was very simple. The old one came right out and this one just popped in. The purchasing process was seamless and the product shipped on time.
