Filter was dirty with some fine grit, and there was a rattling sound from inside the filter. Small clear plastic pieces were falling out. This is garbage.

Easy to install and compatible with the refrigerator.

This Subzero air purification cartridge has to be replaced once a year. It actually works, as I found veggies like romaine lettuce last much longer in the Subzero than they did in my Samsung -- sometimes theyre still fresh 2-3 weeks after purchase, which is just amazing. I was happy to receive an actual Subzero-branded cartridge for a price maybe 15% less than the distributor I usually order from, with the usual Prime free shipping. I wont hesitate to re-order next year.

It does not work, I need the original filter this one looked dusty as the light kept blinking

I should have listened to the negative reviews. Unit arrived broken with shards of either glass or plastic all over the unit. There was also a rattling sound which makes me think something broke inside. Promptly returned for a refund. Will buy from Sub-zero/Wolf directly instead.

When we got our SubZero and filter replacement time rolled around, we got a filter that said it was comperable to original SubZero filter. Well, my husband looked at the original and compared it to the CHEAP one. He immediately sent it back. Yes, they may be pricey but worth the investment especially since we invested in a high end frig! No regrets AND it may affect your warranty if not using the proper filter.

Open seal, box opened, dirty filter, glass in box. Paid full price for a new cartridge, got a dirty, used one. Contains mercury & it’s got particles inside the box!!! Dishonest business practice! Do NOT buy!!!!! Go through the manufacturer directly.

This seller failed all basic requirements as a business owner. (1) Badly damaged item still shipped out without inspecting. (2) Failed business ethics. (3) Poor first impression. (4) No consideration. (5) Ship out a dangerous item that contains multiple tiny pieces of glass all over the item. (6) Try to kill customers by having tiny pieces of glass all over the item that can be inhaled into your lungs can cause lung damage. (7) Endanger to kids if touche it. (8) No consideration Why even Amazon allow this business to function in this environment.

Subzero computer is telling me this filter is nearly discharged, ie… i was sent a used filter.

This is the manufacturers item. It works best. Don’t use the copy cats. They are inferior and could possibly void the warranty.
