Sub-Zero Air Purification Cartridge-7042798

This Subzero air purification cartridge has to be replaced once a year. It actually works, as I found veggies like romaine lettuce last much longer in the Subzero than they did in my Samsung -- sometimes theyre still fresh 2-3 weeks after purchase, which is just amazing. I was happy to receive an actual Subzero-branded cartridge for a price maybe 15% less than the distributor I usually order from, with the usual Prime free shipping. I wont hesitate to re-order next year.

The 648 PRO G does not use an air freshener.

I was a little worried about installing this on my own but it was very simple. The old one came right out and this one just popped in. The purchasing process was seamless and the product shipped on time.

These were dead on arrival. We ordered two and one of them had bits of glass on the outside, as if the glass bulb inside broke. Both filters were broke. Do yourself a favor and order parts from an official Sub Zero distributor or directly from Sub Zero. Go on their site. I ordered the same filters from an official major east coast parts distributor and they worked.

I find it much easier and less expensive to install my own filters on my sub-zero frig than it is to hire a repairman to do it for me. In fact, it was a repairman that suggested that I just order my filters online and install them myself.

Easy to install, helps keep the refrigerator fresh.

The surface of the part looks very rough, not like a brand new one.

This is the manufacturers item. It works best. Don’t use the copy cats. They are inferior and could possibly void the warranty.
