Greater than one weekWell, everything was going great with this toy. Than I witnessed one of my parakeets take a frayed strand of rope and pull it off the string (it was a fluffy tuft). He then decided to eat it. He seems to be alright so it probably passed through his digestion, I hope. I would not recommend this toy because of the way it frayed. my birds other rope toy does not become fluffy when frayed, which is a good thing. I dont want my birds or anyone elses to get hurt by faulty toy. I wish I knew what specific type of rope they used on this toy, so i could avoid it. My only thought is that they might have used yarn.
