> 3 dayIve had this in my Blue Crown Conures cage for quite awhile. He plays quite rough with his toys. Today he was making more noise than usual. When I went over to check on him he had one of the ropes wrapped around his neck. I had to cut him loose with a pair of scissors and removed this toy. Maybe cutting the ropes shorter may be an option. This is the 3rd time hes had issues with toys. Just keep an eye on the toys that are deemed safe.

> 3 dayWell, everything was going great with this toy. Than I witnessed one of my parakeets take a frayed strand of rope and pull it off the string (it was a fluffy tuft). He then decided to eat it. He seems to be alright so it probably passed through his digestion, I hope. I would not recommend this toy because of the way it frayed. my birds other rope toy does not become fluffy when frayed, which is a good thing. I dont want my birds or anyone elses to get hurt by faulty toy. I wish I knew what specific type of rope they used on this toy, so i could avoid it. My only thought is that they might have used yarn.

Greater than one weekMy bird always loves these. He cuddles up with them when he sleeps & preens it when hes awake. I love these because when he is busy with this he is not pulling his feathers. I have bought several.

> 3 dayNever, ever give your bird any toy with anything made from rope, twine or fabric! Your bird can ingest the fibers and choke to death or impact his crop. These are so dangerous. Do your research. There are lots of articles about this.

Greater than one weekMy lovebird likes to shred things and he really enjoys this. I find pieces of it on the bottom of his cage and he likes to unravel the strings. Keeps him entertained.
