Taylor of Old Bond Street Sandalwood Shaving Cream Bowl, 5.3-Ounce 2PK

Great stuff

I have been shaving with a safety razor and mug shave cream for 50 years. Ive tried quite a few over those years including the Art of Shaving cream. I find this Old Bond Street lathers fully, has a nice scent and adds to a great shave.

I love this stuff, the smell is one of my favorites and really makes my face soft and not dry afterwards. It lathers really nicely and gives a great slickness for your shave.

Would give it five stars but the scent is too strong

Like everyone else in the world who uses a straight razor and brush, I started out using Colonel Conks old time shaving soap. I decided to try this shaving cream out and Im never going back. It takes SECONDS to work up a good lather and it doesnt dry up quickly. The Sandalwood is a great smell but its so extremely mild that my aftershave overpowers it so easily. Bottom line: Only use a finger tip sized bit to work up a lather. Lather is ready in roughly 15-20 seconds. Very pleasant but extremely mild smell thats almost unnoticeable. For what you get, this lasts just as long (if not longer) than old school shaving soap. Do yourself a favor and switch to this product. Youll never go back to old shaving soap again.

Dont often give 5 stars reviews but this is an exception. Very nice shave & subtle fragrance make this a worthy product for those of us that like using a blade instead of electric. I have sensitive skin and a course beard which this product handles well.

Smells like a barbershop, lathers well with minimal water. Protects the sensitive skinned face while shaving with the sharpest of blades. My favorite shave soap.

And foams up even better than Truefit does. Really nice and worth the price -- as long as you use a brush when you shave. =D

Love this stuff. My wife loves the smell. It gives a great shave and doesnt break the bank.
