Simply the best!!

This as you can see or have known is set the best seller on Amazon, this cream was my first ever purchase as a shaver. In fact I ordered two tubs. After finishing one off and started with the other I decided to write a review. To the ones new to this product , TOBS are a well known British company in the shaving and mens grooming world. You can. Rowan all their products or even goose to visit them in person in London. Cutting off to the chase, this is not my favorite sandalwood scent, anyone who knows me know that my favorite is The discontinued Art of Shaving sandalwood tallow soap. The difference between the two is huge in terms of the scent, yet both are great performers and provide great slickness and cushion to the face. The scent on this is more medicinal though its not earthy, it does have a fresh scent and to my personal taste its more modern. Its not powdery. I tried all sorts of brushes while using this cream and to me, there is something of a miracle that happens when you use a boar bristle brush with this. There is no need to use a lot to create an amazing lather. I usually load this cream from the tub, just a couple of swirls and I am ready to go. The smell strength is 5 out of ten. For those that like a subtle balance of scent while they are shaving , this cream is a gem. The lather doesnt dry up and its quite a pleasant rich white sheen. This cream is close to my heart because I accomplished the first holy grail shave with. You can look up my reviews on the products I will mention below to see and get to know each factor of my special shave that I have accomplished. I never get rid of empty tubs and I use them with other soaps in my den. I usually get refill pucks and I usually end up putting them in those tubs. For those that care about the packaging details, the wordings and details tend to fall off after the use. They are printed on the tub. For the price this is a great product and one that will last you a long while. The cream never fades in smell and this particular product is great to bowl lather with. This shaving cream is great. It lathers easily and provides the proper ingredients for a smooth shave. It actually feels good on your face and the razor just glides over your skin. It is great for both straight razor or DE safety razor. You cant go wrong with Taylor of Old Bond Street especially at 2/3rds the price.

Like everyone else in the world who uses a straight razor and brush, I started out using Colonel Conks old time shaving soap. I decided to try this shaving cream out and Im never going back. It takes SECONDS to work up a good lather and it doesnt dry up quickly. The Sandalwood is a great smell but its so extremely mild that my aftershave overpowers it so easily. Bottom line: Only use a finger tip sized bit to work up a lather. Lather is ready in roughly 15-20 seconds. Very pleasant but extremely mild smell thats almost unnoticeable. For what you get, this lasts just as long (if not longer) than old school shaving soap. Do yourself a favor and switch to this product. Youll never go back to old shaving soap again.

Best shave cream on the market..just wish I could find it locally!

My husbands buddy gave him the first tub of this, last a year. He wanted me to order again. He loved it.

Very creamy lather.

Absolutely love this shaving cream. I love the very pleasant, traditional scent, the perfect texture, and the extreme ease with which this cream lathers and applies to my face. Very high quality product, and easily my new favorite, go-to shaving cream from now on. Highly recommend
