I had a pinched nerve in my back from bench pressing. It was bothering me while sleeping and throughout the day. I got professional massages, used deep tissue massage guns, tried sleeping different ways, icy hot pads, and absolutely nothing worked. I was about to call a doctor to schedule some physical therapy until my friend recommended this product. As soon as I tried it I knew this was exactly what I needed. About three weeks of using this my back is feeling much better. This is a must have for people living an active lifestyle.

I have used a TENS unit during physical therapy and didn’t know what I would need at home. I liked the simplicity of this one and it is a lot like the one the therapist used on me. I love the sturdy case it comes in and protected control knobs. My only complaint was that you only receive 4 electrodes pads so you will need to buy more.

Works ok. Very simple setup. I wish it was rechargeable instead of running on old fashioned battery. I like the little storage container which is like a miniature suitcase that it comes with. Also wish it came with more replacement pads.

This therapy was recommended by my doctor for nerve damaged tingling in my finger...and P.T. did it to just larger machine. This works well for purpose just make sure to read the instructions and I also looked up where to place the electrodes for the best relief for each finger that were numb. Start out on a low speed and increase as you tolerate...but some of the voltages take a few moments to referencing on type of waves your using. I do think for the price they could of given more than 4 electrode patches.

I had used one of these years ago and bought this because of my sciatic pain. Opened the box, easy to plug the cables in, slap on the sticky things in the spots that are bugging me and turned it on. It is the like getting a massage inside your body! Worth every penny and Ive only used it for 5 minutes.

I have disc issues and a shoulder that I had a surgery on. I am away from home for several months while my husband has a bone marrow transplant to fight leukemia. So, I have a lot of stress and anxiety in my life right now & it felt like I had tons of knots in my neck, and shoulders & I couldnt get relief no matter what I did. I have a tens unit at home, but I had forgot to pack it. So, I order this one & it arrived very fast and was very easy to use and it did the trick. It saved me from being miserable for the rest of our stay. I would recommend this to anyone needing relief from this kind of pain.

My husband and I have previously owned several other 7000 model TENS machines of this brand, both of which still work, but are about 12 years old now and are getting a bit worn out, so we decided to purchase a new one. This new edition of model 7000 is essentially the same in the way it looks externally and how it functions as the older version, so if you are replacing a worn-out 7000 model, this upgraded version will not confuse you with unnecessary changes in its interface. What is different is that the manufacturer has added some helpful new options for settings, the most significant to me, and the only one that Ive opted to try out so far, is that if you choose to go to sleep using this TENS unit, it will turn itself off after about an hour, which the previous model did not do. This is an excellent feature because it spares the battery, which saves the user money because 9-volt batteries are not cheap. This device comes with a set of leads and 4 electrodes as a complete starter kit. The electrodes lasted me a total usage time of about 6 to 7 hours before they wore out. That is not in my experience a terrific amount of time for TENS electrodes to last. Ive had other brands of electrodes that fit both this model and my older model of this TENS machine which have lasted a total of about 9 or 10 hours. Note that if you use this machine at all frequently, you will want to immediately order some more electrodes so you wont run out. The 4 electrodes included in this kit is not a lot. The basic principle of how this TENS machine functions, via mild electrical stimulation of muscles, is no different from any other TENS machine. This is good news because this particular brand is quite reasonably priced at the lower end of the scale of cost for TENS machines. All TENS machines are extremely helpful for relieving muscle pain. And for people who suffer from fibromyalgia, in particular, this home therapy is far more effective and a lot safer than taking dangerous prescription drugs with terrible side effects, such as Lyrica. As another example of utilizing this TENS machine rather than relying on dangerous prescription pain drugs, I recently have endured an excruciating bout of shingles, and this TENS unit has been a lifesaver in helping me to bear the terrible pain. It doesnt so much as directly turn off the burning, electric-shock, neuropathic pain that is such a devastating feature of shingles, and which anti-inflammatory OTC medications and prescription opioids are ineffective at controlling. Instead, in my experience, it works to distract the brain from experiencing the neuropathic pain of shingles either entirely, or mutes the pain to a bearable level. As such, it can simultaneously act not only as a form of temporary pain relief, but functions as a crucial tool to help prevent the development of postherpetic neuralgia. Note that TENS should be an adjunct treatment, and not a replacement for the antiviral, prescription drug prescribed for shingles which, to be effective, must be taken within 72 hours of the outbreak of the first set of blisters from the shingles rash. Sadly, statistically, this drug has only a 50-50 chance of mitigating a shingles attack, preventing a future attack, and preventing postherpetic neuralgia. When it comes to preventing the terrible curse of postherpetic neuralgia, its important, therefore, to have as many options as possible on the table. This TENS option is so inexpensive, and so completely safe, that one essentially has nothing to lose by using it as an adjunct to taking the antiviral medication. Doctors who specialize in the treatment of chronic pain have indicated that a main reason for the development of chronic pain, after the original cause of the pain has been healed in the body, is that dysfunctional neural pathways have become established when pain lasts longer than 8 to 12 weeks after the original cause of the pain has been healed. This is the point at which doctors will change the diagnosis of the pain from acute to chronic. Utilizing a TENS unit can help prevent those dysfunctional pathways from becoming entrenched. And if one already has long-established chronic pain, using a TENS unit can be a way to help retrain those dysfunctional pathways. I also believe that, given that using a TENS unit like this one is helpful for the nerve pain of shingles, which is a disease caused by the chicken pox virus which damages nerves, that TENS might also potentially be an excellent, inexpensive and convenient home remedy for the mitigation and potential outright healing of other types of chronic, neuropathic pain as well, if the pain is the type that is post-trauma, rather than pain from ongoing, uncontrolled disease. But even in the case of the latter, a TENS unit can be an excellent adjunct therapy when dangerous prescription drugs are doing an ineffective job at alleviating the devastating suffering caused by neuropathic pain.

I normally do not write reviews on the products I buy but I felt this was one that people like myself needs help when buying. Please read entire review! The reason i got one was because my physical therapist told me I should get one for home use. They use them on me as part of my PT. There was 2 unit that was recommended to me from a completely different website which I did go to. Both units were the Tens name brand the 2000 model which is analog model exactly same as the digital 7000 model just analog is the only difference she said along with price. I choose to go with the 7000 but before buying I wanted to check with Amazon to see if they had it and to my amazing surprise they did have the Tens 7000 unit and ao so many more they had so many to choose from that I hesitate in buying, i actually had about 3 picked out i googled top and best rated units ofcourse each website has different view points as to which unit is best and why. Some are just tens units and some are TENS and EMS units so I thought well maybe i should get one of those its close to same price, and some of those say they have massage like levels that would be cool, so i held off until my next PT appointment and I asked ok out of these which should i get and they looks and said honestly I understand why you were put back with all the different units and reasins but still their is no way these pads could ever come close to giving you close to a massage like feel, just not possible while it might feel good its not gonna feel like the massage types they are saying, second the TENS 7000 we know for fact is medically proven and tested and has been approved for medical grade use for even us to be able to use in our patient which is why it was recommended the first time, I think i would still stick with that, but its your money by all means get the one you feel the most comfortable about getting. So I by all means followed my PT adviced and ordered the TENS7000 from Amazon as soon as I got back out to my car, my biggest hold up on that unit was that I did see that you could use any of the electrode pads larger than 2 x2 with that unit, but you can, as long as as it the same connection type matter fact my PT gave me a pack to tryof 2 x 4, and they work, using them as i write this review, and i also ordered some through Amazon, i just typed in Tens Electrodes 2x4 pads and they came right up right connections and all.. these pads are great size for back, if you have wide spread back paid, box in the area that hurts. Such as most your back, so place 2 pads at the 2 top corners and again 2 bottom corners and it will cover the entire area inbetween per my PT and guess what it works, everything inbetween gets worked.. another concern was it only taking a 9 volt battery was it gonna be string enough, wow was I shocked... I couldnt handle over a 3 and it goes all the way up to 8, so I would say YES it has more than plenty of power to handle your pain level. Cause i have some serious pain with a compressed fracture from a auto accident, plus I had back pain before that. So dont over look the power this unit has thinking you can find better. I couldnt tell you if you can find better, but i do know there is no need is speeding more more money on other costly units when this unit had a might punch to put out. You will not be disappointed. It is lightweight, compact, smaller than my cell phone to carry for easy on the go use. The only down size is the battery isnt rechargeable but that is a very easy fix but getting a rechargeable battery system thats good to use with any product you have that takes a 9 volt not just this device.. thanks for reading my review, this is the 2st one I bv have EVER written, you cant go wrong with this unit..

The unit is easy to use and is just what I needed for my back pain. The pads lasted me about ten uses which is a little more than I expected. Very happy with my purchase!

We bought this to try with ear clips for the vagus nerve for long nineteen. Once I accidentally turned the dial the wrong direction, as did one of my teens, so I returned the unit because it was too easy to make a mistake with it. The battery that came with the unit was DEAD. A bonus is that is is eligible for FSA tax free spending. If I did not need a TENS device to use with the ear clips, this would have been fine, but for my purpose I did not want to risk it. It is nice unit, but after shocking ourselves twice, I decided to return it to purchase one with up / down arrows.
