Greater than one weekWe put this in our basement door since my cat’s litter is downstairs & it would get a little chilly in the house. So we can keep it closed now & It works great & it looks very cute. Got lots of compliments. Most importantly my cat loves the freedom of going up & down cwhen he wants.

> 3 dayKitty Pass sent a regular pattern. I ordered an XL door pass. They told me to look it up on their website to get the right one.

> 3 dayThe “framing” is sturdy and has good adhesion. It is smooth and doesn’t snag at the kitty’s fur. Our dogs love to peek in to see what’s happening on the other side. We use the door to the laundry room which is in the back hallway. This is visible from our front room so I can now leave the door closed but the kitties stuff have access to their facilities and food. The dogs don’t get in the laundry room and cause trouble either. Of course my ornery cats really like to play on either side of the “door”, too. It’s exactly what I needed.

> 3 dayThis is a super cute concept. It is a piece of plastic trim that goes over a door cut-out to allow cats to pass through. You make a rough cut in the door, and the trim covers up any imperfections for a clean look! I used a corded jigsaw with a scrolling blade (to enable tighter, finer turns). We put this in a closet in our basement that we are going to use for litter boxes so that we can keep the door closed.

> 3 dayWe just installed this. Super easy with a jigsaw. I used the inner liner as my guide instead of the paper template. The template seemed slightly larger and I was worried it would be too big. Once we got the hole cut we were easily able to put the mold in place and used the stickers/adhesive tape it comes with to secure. I might get caulking to make it look even more flushed but that’s just a personal preference. Once installed cat took to opening immediately. My cat is not a oversized, and she fit easily with lots of side clearance. Definitely would recommend.

> 3 dayWow, where do I even start? This cat door is amazing!!!! Wish I had bought it sooner. We never used to be able to shut our bedroom door at night because our cat would need to go in and out of our bedroom at night. Now we can finally close and lock our bedroom door and our cat can still go in and out of our bedroom using her cat door. My cat is about 12-13 pounds. We first bought the size Large cat door, but it was just too small, she would have to crawl through. So we returned it and bought the size XL and it is perfect. Our cat can go in and out of it very easily. It has been a great purchase. We love it, our cat loves it. Just perfect. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayIt was really fast to install and works as advertised. The only minor changes I made were to put the back of the doorway (tail end) first with the spacer strip installed to make sure it lined up with the bottom of the door. This was because I dry fitted it first and found out that the front end was easier to line up with the back end installed first. I also had to use a thin piece of metal (file) to push the spacer strip into alignment with the front piece. The cat used the doorway immediately with no issues.
