The “framing” is sturdy and has good adhesion. It is smooth and doesn’t snag at the kitty’s fur. Our dogs love to peek in to see what’s happening on the other side. We use the door to the laundry room which is in the back hallway. This is visible from our front room so I can now leave the door closed but the kitties stuff have access to their facilities and food. The dogs don’t get in the laundry room and cause trouble either. Of course my ornery cats really like to play on either side of the “door”, too. It’s exactly what I needed.

Super easy to install! I used a jigsaw and total installation took about 20 minutes. My larger cat is 12 pounds and has no problem fitting through. Love that we can keep the litter in our basement now and out of our living areas! Would definitely recommend!

My husband and I have had cats throughout our 31 year marriage. It wasnt until I received my 75lbs Golden Retriever PTSD service dog from a veterans organization that we needed to keep food bowls & litter box treats separated. (Yes, those buried litter box treasures smell like food to your dog ... just FYI lol). We needed a solution to keep our animals from eating each others foods. So, we purchased the smaller version 1st ... not knowing there was a larger size. But for food? My 21lbs fat cat squeezes into the pantry doors cat hole just fine! I painted the pantry doors pieces brown to represent our tiny tortie siamese kitty. I wanted the bigger cat hole for our laundry room door to make certain that my black fat cat would use it. And to keep my new service dog out of their litterbox! I mean ... eeewww! Spray paint is your friend! We ordered 2 sizes of this adorable cat-hole! I sprayed 1 black, 1 brown. I prefer the larger size just because it works so well for larger cats. My techie-geek hubby & his friend with the skill saw knocked this job out quickly. Easy to use template! Now my new Golden Retriever service girl stays out of the cats food bowls and away from the special treat box! So cute and functional! Score!

We put this in our basement door since my cat’s litter is downstairs & it would get a little chilly in the house. So we can keep it closed now & It works great & it looks very cute. Got lots of compliments. Most importantly my cat loves the freedom of going up & down cwhen he wants.

Super easy to install. Came with easy to use template. I have a very chonky cat that didnt fit through the standard size, so I bought the XL. The XL is too big, my medium size dog army crawls through it to get to where she isnt allowed. I should have taken my dogs size into consideration when looking at the measurements of the XL door opening.

We installed only the face of this product on a cabinet door as an entry to a hidden litter box. We cut out the cabinet using the provided template and it lined up perfectly. The adhesive tabs held great and we finished off with caulking the seams and painting to match the cabinet. The XL size is just right for our healthy sized cat. I would highly recommend this product as a cute addition to your cat decor.

I installed the door, and it looks good and seems sturdy. Overall, seems like a good product. *BUT* I purchased the XL door, and what I got for instructions and template were pretty clearly for the smaller door. I figured this out after cutting. Not a big deal, since I just had to go back and cut a bigger hole (and figure out my own template for that). I should have checked the template against the size of the door before I started. It was an annoying waste of 30 minutes, but in the end I still got a good product. Hopefully, you are reading this *before* having had the same issue.

I can say that because I’m a moron when it comes to home projects like cutting a huge hole in your door. After buying a jigsaw, taking a couple of nerve pills - it was easier than I expected with the stencil already in place. Within 10 minutes the door was done. Would highly recommend even if you are on the fence.

I always had to have my mud room door and my basement door partially opened so my cats could get to their litter boxes. Very annoying to always have those doors open. This not only solved that issue but these cat doors have become conversion pieces! The cats went through them immediately, they were very easy to install, and look great! I wish I had found them sooner!!

Solid product that solves problems, but the template is the wrong size. A full 1.5 off. This caused me yo havr to make a second cut which on a hollow core door is very difficult and more dangerous as a jigsaw doesnt have the ability to have both feet on the work surface. Fix the template issues and it would be 5 stars
