> 3 dayFirst, this went together very, very easily. I had it assembled, adjusted, and in the window in a few minutes. Sliding the A/C unit in place was very easy. But a couple thoughts on making it a bit better 1) The alternating pins are very clever, but need to be called out in the instructions. I thought something was wrong for a moment, until I realized how it was walking into place, moving one detent at a time. 2) its not clear in the instructions how the wings that hold the inside of the window frame are supposed to fit up against the window frame and trim. I ended up extending the wings as far as I could within the window (based on the flat portion on the bottom), and let the tabs reach as far as they could. 3) I padded the support against the window with some foam, and put some of the foam that came with my A/C unit (meant to be applied to the window sill) to the shelf in a few contact points to reduce the amount of metal-to-metal contact and vibration (its noticeably quieter, now).

Greater than one weekLike others have said, if your window isn’t a certain one, it won’t fit. Actually, my window did fit the description, but I could not get the window (that you bring down on top of the ac) to align with the rail in the bracket that the ac unit drops into. When I bring the window down, I have to lean the unit into the house to get the window all the way down on top of it to hold it in. Unfortunately, this tilts the ac unit into the house, which is exactly what you don’t want. I called the company, they called me back, I sent photos and they responded with an email that was not helpful. When I replied, I heard nothing back. I am unfortunately 18 days past my return date, so I am stuck with this thing that is totally useless. My advice is to call the company first and send them pictures of your windows to be sure it will fit. If it will fit, it’s a solid bracket.

> 3 dayEasy install and solid support, wont fit my vinyl window track well enough to use.

> 3 dayEvery AC unit that says its an easy install for windows lies (at least based on how my windows are set up) and although the price is steep, it makes installation a breeze for all unit sizes (works so well I bought 2). If you have difficulty getting your unit in the window every summer this is worth relieving the stress of that process. in terms of durability time will tell. given the perceived strength of the components im surprised it doesnt have a longer warranty which is a little frustrating but otherwise im satisfied.

Greater than one weekThe unit is good quality and sturdy. Installed easily in vinyl replacement windows. My ac unit does not have a flat bottom, and so sits unevenly on support. This also effects the moisture draining.

> 3 dayYoull likely need a ton of insulating foam to seal up all the cracks this leaves, but it solves a niche issue and for that I am very thankful. The rubber feet pads are terrifyingly hard to press in and fall out almost immediately - also the spring loaded button stops for the arms are not particularly made the best - one refused to pop out no matter what I tried. Rest of the item seems very sturdily built. Like some other reviewers I have outside flush vinyl windows and no real good way to brace a heavier AC. The last AC I put in damaged the window due to its weight so I needed something to help with the bracing, but didnt want to fabricate my own wooden bracket or shove a 2x4 in my lawn. I set this flush with my inside frame, so the arms in front grab on the sides of the window sill - then used a ton of foam to seal up all the cracks. Not the prettiest but definitely is getting the job done so far.

> 3 dayAfter we had replacement windows installed it was always a juggling act to put in the air conditioners in the Summer. Trying to balance the air conditioner and a 2X4 while lowering the window, trying to make sure the air conditioner didnt scratch up the window frame etc. This bracket was the solution I was looking for. I was able to make adjustments to the bracket so it fit just right. Now the air conditioner is supported just right.

> 3 dayThis shelf does hold an air conditioner; mine held a large unit. It wasnt incredibly difficult to assemble. That being said, it did leave a gap at the bottom where outside air could easily infiltrate. I also found damage on my sill. Additionally, The water ran out of my unit down the closest leg and painted my brick wall white. It also rusted away all of the paint on one foot and introduced rust on the other foot. I also had difficulty keeping the pads in while installing the mount. Its a good concept but the product needs a little more quality control.

Greater than one weekI used this with a large 14,000 BTU A/C. It was easy to put together and get the A/C installed without having to drill a single hole. My biggest issue was that the instructions were vague and were concentrated solely on the bracket itself. There were no tips or any other types of information that had helped me get a larger window A/C unit installed with this bracket so I had to rely on competitor videos for a better understanding of how it should work. With that said, Id still buy it again now that I know how to get the A/C mounted in the window with the bracket.
