So I haven’t taken it on it’s first trip just yet, but upon first inspection and having packed it full of clothes, it seems to be very good quality. Only time will tell, but I have high hopes. It’s unique in that you get hooks for hangers at both ends, which allows for better placement of clothes and better utilizes space. I am concerned there isn’t a stabilization bar or strap that can be placed across the clothes and when folded up there is some movement.

The front zipper broke the 1st trip. I was so upset after spending 100s of dollars

Great luggage. Keep in mind they have lower cost versions that look alike. The platinum version has noticeably different construction. So if your frequent traveler spend the extra

Extremely well crafted, above average sturdiness and durability. With that said if you are looking for a garment bag that embodies robust construction and class look no further. This is the garment bag for you! Now if you are looking for a bag that is of lesser quality but will get the job done with less durability there are plenty around with a lower price. The old saying goes you get what you pay for. Now is the bag perfect? No it is not. It could have a hook for hanging it vertically. And if you have a long stride and or are above average in leg length the bag might be problematic because you might kick it with your heals as you walk.

This is heavier than my old suitcase and it doesnt lie flat. There is less space across the middle -- it looks as though three suits will fit, but the arch in the middle of the suitcase rises up pretty high. Not sure if Ill be able to pack suits AND shirts into it, like I used to. It weighs about two pounds more than the old one and thats just enough to be a bit unpleasant. Ill keep it, but not happy.

This is a well-built garment bag with nice features. The exterior construction is a durable nylon with rugged zippers. The wheels are sturdy and spin well. The telescoping rolling handle extends from a zippered pocket for concealment when not in use. The zippers to the main compartment can be secured with an integrated 4-digit combination lock. The interior has several compartments including a medium sized transparent plastic zipper pocket that’s perfect for personal products that might leak. There are hooks for hangers on both ends of the main compartment. All in all, pretty nice. Recommended.

This suiter works perfectly for my husband when he brings suits to conferences. Theres plenty of room for othr items as well. The only drawback is that it doesnt hang.

Sturdy, convenient, professional. Those were the 3 things that I looked for and this checked all of those boxes. This piece of luggage went on a 15 day business trip through Europe with me and stood up to the multiple connections and the many suits and blazers I had to pack in it. Wonderful bag, and it definitely got pushed, shoved and kicked around. 8 flights so far and little to no wear. Highly recommended

Great bag for storing garments, lots of room and well made---But the wheel system is undesirable; not having it be on all angle rollers, like spinner luggage is very annoying. Fix that and its a great bag.

    - As a long time user of a Samsonite garment style bag of checked baggage size, I needed to replace it after 10+ years of hard use, and air travel all over the world. While the Travel Pro 50 is more expensive than a Samsonite equivalent, it is a rugged and robust bag with a large capacity. I needed it right away and Amazon could deliver it faster (2 Days), than a Samsonite equivalent. The local Samsonite store did not have the style I wanted in store and order delivery from Samsonite or Amazon was too late for my impending travel. - Be sure to go onto the Travel Pro site to read about how to use the TSA approved travel lock, because the card that comes with the bag is hard to read (small print and unclear diagram). You will want to do this because you will need to put the zipper pulls into the lock, so they wont be damaged during airline baggage handling. Even if you dont set your own combination and leave it at the factory setting you need to know how the lock works.

Go large and in charge. The Platinum Elite 50" rolling garment bag accommodates several hanging garments with its larger interior and a padded roll bar to guard against wrinkles. Multiple interior pockets accommodate folded clothing, undergarments, accessories and more, while a large exterior pocket and smaller zippered pocket provide ample room for a computer, tablet or other onboard essentials. The ideal rolling garment bag for medium and longer trips, this stylish beauty is made from premium fabrics with leather trim and a chrome zipper. Integrated lock allows TSA authorities to safely unlock and lock suitcase for inspection when needed (default lock code is 0-0-0 to open). Even with its generous size, mobility is easy on two smooth-gliding wheels with the patented, adjustable PowerScope extension handle that minimizes wobble and adjusts to multiple heights. Backed by Travelpro built for a lifetime limited warranty with our trusted companion promise which covers the cost of repair for damage from airline or other common carrier for 1 year.
