Greater than one weekTheyre very bright and a very nice blue. However, the default option on the light is not the steady on. So you always have to switch it when you turn them on.

> 3 dayI have had these lights for years. Controlled by a button on the power cord (mine did not come with a remote control that Im aware of.) Lots of different settings. They are cozy and cute in the windows. They do get tangled very easily so keep them wrapped up and hang the main string before you undo the rest - just a suggestion. I do wish they had a dimmer. Sometimes Id like them to be less bright but still love them.

Greater than one weekI use this light curtain as a headboard for my bed and it looks GREAT. The only thing about it is the way it works is a little misleading in the description. There is a little box on the wire leading for the outlet that has a button you use to control it. This button cycles through 8 different light modes (combinations of flashing, twinkling, etc...) so it isnt really remote controlled. Also, there is no timer function, which would have been nice. Ive also noticed that some of the lights dont actually completely turn off? They just get very very dim when the button is pushed to the off mode. Otherwise good product with great value.
