As much as I love apple, they never have enough compatible ports available for use. This keeps me from having to decide between mic or light. Charger or printer etc.

The new iMac 24” base fits perfectly in the hub. It will raise your monitor up about .75”, which was great for me. Set up is easy, just one USB-C. So far the only negative is that my scanner and printer are slow to activate when plugged into the hub. At first, when I open my printer app or select a document to print, the device shows up as disconnected. After a few seconds it will become available. Not a huge problem but it was a non-issue when plugged directly into the computer.

Edit 2022 06 29 I installed a Samsung 2 TB NVMe in this hub with a USB 3.2 connection to my computer which has an SSD. I copied a 12.7 GB file from the computer SSD to this NVMe in 10 seconds. Thats fast enough for me. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08RK2SR23?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 --- Original Review --- The USB C Hub for iMac 24 inch 2021, Minisopuru USB Hub Adapter Support M.2 NVMe SSD appears well made from aluminum and matches the iMac and Mac Studio. It has a few ports on the side and a short cord to plug into the Mac. It seems like a lot of hubs have the SD and Micro SD card slots and this one does too. I waited to receive the hub before I purchased a SSD to ensure there were no limits so I have not tried that out yet, but should have the SSD in a few days. The hub connects with USB 3.2. The usb 3.2 hub can easily access your basic devices smoothly. I would have preferred Thunderbolt 4 as that is the standard on current Macs, but it is a compromise between features and price. The kit included a screw driver, silicone pad to protect the electronics of the SSD, and 2 screws and standoffs. Be careful when opening the box. The bag containing the screws was not closed.

This is used as the base for the iMac and blends in seamlessly. The product works as designed AND you can select the color to match your iMac. How great is that?
