This gun worked absolutely Perfect for spraying fluid film undercoating. I’ll be using this gun every year to undercoat my vehicle so hopefully it keeps working great.

Use for fluid film. Handles it great, no clogging, sprays like a champ. Fluid film is no problem at all for this sprayer.

I have undercoated about 15 cars and trucks using fluid film with this sprayer. My only complaint is that the plastic hoses tend to kink easily, but they can easily be replaced with hose of the same ID at a hardware store. Ive sprayed fluid film with a few other sprayers and this one is the easiest by far.

Still reading? You shouldnt be. This is THE product for applying Fluid film NAS (not aerosol spray). I had some doubts (as did other folks), because I was expecting the fluid film to be liquid. It really isnt, its almost like a gel. THIS IS BETTER, because the applied product (as opposed to the aerosol spray cans) is much thicker. This sprayer worked PERFECTLY to apply the product (to my amazement!) You could adjust the flow to your needs, and the pattern was very predictable, so there wasnt much overspray. I ended up using 2 gallons of FF for my CX-9, which is a bit more than others (Ill probably put a gallon and a half on my wifes Malibu. The thing is, I live in Buffalo, and I dont know if youve heard the news, it snows here. So i put a pretty thick layer on, but no drips at all! The included wands allow you to get in to hard to reach areas, and inside the frame. SO HANDY! I used the thing for 5 minutes, and went inside to exclaim to my wife how much I love when people engineer things properly. This is engineered and built properly (in Italy, not China). Just buy the thing. You can thank the random guy on the internet later.

It wont spray fluid film at all.... air leaks badly.

Nice system that works as described. Unfortunately, the manufacturer decided to use VERY, VERY cheap plastic hoses for the hard to reach areas. So when you start getting into those hard to reach spots and the hose kinks up as seen in the photo, look out…. When I pressed the trigger, a small explosion of undercoating from the container escaped from the top vent all over the place, and I really mean all over the place. Mask and protective eyewear saved me but left everything else a mess of wasted product. If the merchant is reading this: Please spend the extra dollar or two on an actual rubber hose that doesn’t kink like these cheap plastic straws that were supplied with the unit. I would have gladly spent more to avoid what happened to me.

I really like spraying with this gun, it gives me more control over how much Im spraying on than the Fluid Film gun I borrowed last year. The three cups make sure there is always another full cup ready when Im laying under there (I have to use ramps since I dont have a lift at home) so I dont have to wait for my helper to refill. I only used the 360 wand and it did what I needed. This is a good deal for the money, Its well made and easy to use.

I use this for the pblaster surface shield and I know it sprays way better than fluid film, plus it doesnt stink like fluid film.
