> 24 hourMy Shitzu / Matese mix puppy (Well she is 7… still my puppy though) :-) Started Inhaling her food all of a sudden. She was making gagging sounds and no matter what I did ...smashed her food to tiny pieces… it didnt help. I noticed she had to bend her neck a lot to drop to her food.. so I thought, open the pathway… raise the food bowl. It took me forever to find something that was raised. When I was looking for dog bowl, I accidentally came across this ad and instantly purchased it. It is a game changer!!! She no longer makes the funny noises and eats slower. I wish the company would market for dogs also. Add a paw on the side... so it isnt pet specific and then others like me that need to lift the food off the ground for their dog wont have the fishon the side LOL. I have several friends that have seen this and have also switched to this style. It is 200% Perfect!! Thank you, and my Coco thanks you also !!

> 24 hourMy cat was making a huge mess when eating out of his old dish. This one is wide enough that it doesn’t bother his whiskers so he’s not a messy eater anymore.

> 24 hourMy kitty seems to like the bowl fine. Does wobble a bit so I recommend a non slip mat for under it.

> 24 hourI already have one of the more expensive brands of raised/angled bowls for my cat but I was looking for a second one and trying not to spend too much money. My cat is elderly and needs something easy to eat and drink out of. Not only is this bowl taller than the other brand, it is nice and heavy and is not in danger of tipping. The height is perfect for an average sized cat and this thing cleans beautifully! I’ve seen people complain about it chipping in the dishwasher. Since my cat eats out of this twice a day, I just have a soft bristle scrubber at the sink to clean it out between feedings (sometimes with a drop of detergent, sometimes not) and the smooth surface cleans easily. I have had it for a few months now and the finish is still beautiful. The width is great as well. Most cats don’t like bowls where their whiskers can touch the sides and this is shallow and wide enough to avoid that. If you want to save $10 and don’t need ears on your ceramic cat food bowl, this is the one to buy. ;) Edited 5/12/20: I came online to order another one of these bowls today and the price has increased $5 from the last time I purchased it a few months ago. My quality comments have not changed but the pricing makes me less likely to buy a second one.

> 24 hourAfter reading the reviews and looking at the pictures I decided to go with this for my elderly cat to help with his arthritis and due to my makeshift one sliding around and not being quite tall enough. The height on this is fantastic for a tallish cat but the depth is a bit much if using for wet food since its more of a shallow bowl than a rounded platter. Very sturdy and large otherwise.

> 24 hourThis bowl is perfect in terms of its height and bowl size for my 15 year old Chihuahua mix. Im taking one star off because the bowl easily chips. One small slip during washing results in chipped edges. Im on third bowl.

> 24 hourRaised cat food bowls assist with digestion and improve neck position. Excellent for my old cat; 18 years. Wide enough to not cause whisker fatigue. Highly recommend

> 24 hourAfter two weeks of using, the bowl gets shattered and broke into pieces because it accidentally slipped out of my hand during the wash with the soap. I really love the bowl and it is so sad that it happened especially my cat needs that bowl because she is wearing a cone after the surgery
