> 3 dayThis is nearly perfect. Its ceramic, is a good height, but it is hollow underneath, making it impossible to wash in a dishwasher, and making it inconvenient for a time-starved family like ours. The manufacturer could have drilled small holes to allow water to drain when its upside down -- much like modern blenders.

> 3 dayIf you love your cat (or small dog) and can afford it, youre thinking of buying this bowl. You should. Its made well and pretty darn sturdy. Very easy to grasp too. Much, much better for digestion to eat from a raised bowl, and this one is a good height. The wide bowl is GREAT for flat faced cats and dogs, and of course, all four legged friends. I have other ceramic raised bowls that cost triple of this one (handmade, however), so it is nice to find a reasonably priced one. Additionally, this has a very wide bowl span, so wet food does not slide off onto the floor. With care I hope it lasts a long time. I have already used it in the microwave to quickly warm refrigerated leftovers. It came packed extremely well. DEFINITELY worth 5 stars!!

Greater than one weekThis bowl is perfect in terms of its height and bowl size for my 15 year old Chihuahua mix. Im taking one star off because the bowl easily chips. One small slip during washing results in chipped edges. Im on third bowl.

> 3 dayThese are very nice..cats love them. I have bought 4 of these. Perfect height for all the cats ( big and small) so they dont have to bend so low eating. They have stopped throwing up as much..very noticeable difference. Wish I would have bought these years ago.

Greater than one weekI bought this bowl to see if it would help my 22yr old cat eat better. Overall I do believe it has helped him by changing his position that he eats. When he was eating out of a conventional bowl he would tend to have a lot of throwing up. I think it was partially related to him eating in a crouching down position. Now with this raised bowl he rarely ever has any sickness episodes. I do feel that this has helped him so much.

> 3 dayMy Shitzu / Matese mix puppy (Well she is 7… still my puppy though) :-) Started Inhaling her food all of a sudden. She was making gagging sounds and no matter what I did ...smashed her food to tiny pieces… it didnt help. I noticed she had to bend her neck a lot to drop to her food.. so I thought, open the pathway… raise the food bowl. It took me forever to find something that was raised. When I was looking for dog bowl, I accidentally came across this ad and instantly purchased it. It is a game changer!!! She no longer makes the funny noises and eats slower. I wish the company would market for dogs also. Add a paw on the side... so it isnt pet specific and then others like me that need to lift the food off the ground for their dog wont have the fishon the side LOL. I have several friends that have seen this and have also switched to this style. It is 200% Perfect!! Thank you, and my Coco thanks you also !!

> 3 dayI purchased four of these dishes, they are great quality!! They are sturdy, my cats started using them immediately with no hesitation. They are nice and high for my Main Coon mix kitties. I would highly recommend the dishes.

> 3 dayI like the fact that his food & water is raised. Rambo is a larger cat & it helps he doesnt have to bend over to eat or drink. I bought another water bowl that is located away from his food if he wants to use that one.
