> 3 dayAttempted to use the 1/2-13 Die to cut new threads. 1/2-13 nut I had did not screw on. Borrow a die from someone else, which clearly cut deeper even though I had run the 1/2 die over the entire blank. Female thread screwed on just fine after using the 2nd (borrowed) die. Havent tried all of the other dies but not interested in the set if the very first die i used couldnt cut new threads. Probably usable for cleaning up existing threads. The handles are pretty cheap feeling but about what is expected for this price point. Taps and Dies themselves feel decent quality.

Greater than one weekIve been putting this set through its paces and things are holding up just fine. Cutting through 4130, 403 stainless and 404 stainless no problem. Theyre not the sharpest taps out there so you have to go slower and back off more often. Use LOTS of cutting fluid. The disappointment is in the case and tap handle. The case is absolutely horrible! Do not bother carrying the box by the handle. All the taps will fall out of their slot and get mixed up. Storing the box on its side is a no-no. So basically, if I want to use this, it has to take up more than half a drawer in my tool box so that nothing gets jumbled up. If I had known that, regardless of the quality of the taps and dies, I wouldnt have purchased the set. The tap handles are horrible. The threads in the arms are out of spec so the arms are loose— they back off while youre using the tool. The end result is a handle that slips off the tap and could break the tap inside whatever hole youre trying to tap.

> 3 dayThe problem with this set was there were no instructions or any information on using any of these pieces. Unsure of finding this information on the internet. Dont know the name of this company. Sent back one set and reordered and this one also had no information, only tools. Am going to try to find this info. Unhappy with this issue.
