> 3 dayI just purchased a new bed frame, and all was great except for four of the thread holes would not allow the bolt to screw in. Instead of shipping the entire 50 lbs. plus metal bed frame, I decided to attempt to fix it instead. The set arrived a day earlier (which was super nice since our mattress was on the floor), and I was able to fix all four holes with the 8M 1.25 tap. I lubricated with a couple of drops of oil and slowly turned back and forth until the resistance felt less. I removed the tool, cleaned the hole, and the bolts screwed right in perfectly. No wiggle, yet no issue threading in. I might not use this set very often, but its nice having it be part of my tools just in case. Happy customer here!

> 3 dayI have never owned a tap and die set. I bought this one because of price and mostly good reviews. I only needed to cut sixteen 3/8 inch taps in quarter inch steel strap but thought for the price just get the whole set. I tapped all 16 holes and never noticed any change in the sharpness of the bit. I would say it is worth it and good quality for the money.
