> 3 dayLasted exactly to the end of the warranty and the motherboard went out. Called acer support, they said they can’t help And that I needed to go to an authorized repair facility. Being military, of course there was not one even close to me.

Greater than one weekThis laptop starts up so quickly and I love it! I bought it to use for grad school. It chose to get the model without Microsoft Office as I got a free student version of Microsoft Office. I dont use it to game but I do use it occasionally to watch videos. The graphics are just ok but what was expected for this model.

> 3 dayWe have barely used this laptop...maybe has 30 hours on it at the most. My daughter used it last week for school and it was just fine. She went to turn it on this week and the screen was black. The keyboard lit up and the battery light turned on, but tried the F2,F9,F10 Enter, and nothing. It is not just the LCD screen, as the power button will not work as well.

> 3 dayIm feeling ready to thoughtfully review this laptop after a few weeks of use now, and Im currently writing this review on this exact laptop. My husband is in IT and a total computer expert, having built his own computers and maintaining 500+ employees computers and systems at his work. He describes this Acer as a mid-range model. As far as hardware goes, this is a nice model for the price range. It comes with Intel Core i5--which means the speed of the machine is higher for a mainstream model--my husband says for this price range thats a good processor, 8 GB memory--which is becoming the new standard as opposed to 4 GB, and the SSD also makes it faster and possibly give the machine a longer life--this is instead of the old spinning style of hard drives which were slower. There are no moving parts in this computer except for the fan.

> 3 dayThis is my first day using this new laptop and Im very excited for the future with it. The screen has very good quality and its sleek design makes it very nice to look at and hold. It is a bit wider than I thought which isnt a big deal at all. As my first laptop, Im very happy with this one. So why is my review 4 stars if I love this laptop so much? I took one star away because of the sound quality. It isnt the best sound quality youll ever see. It sounds a bit muffled and underwater-ish. Other than that, this is an excellent device thatll get the job done and make your life easier.
