> 24 hourLike the title suggests, its a decent laptop for low intensive users. However, the speakers on this laptop are terribly placed and sound is always muffled. The trackpad is also of poor quality and uncomfortable to scroll with.

> 24 hourI’m very happy with this purchase. It’s powerful, loads fast, and it can handle all my multitasking without slowdowns. It’s also really light and compact, despite being a solid metal construction. Battery life seems ok. If you’re on the fence, I say you won’t regret buying this.

> 24 hourBeen using this laptop a couple days. Coming from an old 2015 i3 HP laptop, the ryzen 4700u processor is fast. It plays Halo Reach with no issues and runs Visual Studio 2019 easily and builds quick. I love the look and feel, touchpad is good, lighted keys are nice, and the matte screen is good. For all the features, $700 after tax is a great deal, and I recommend for all students.

> 24 hourI am totally satisfied with this laptop with this price. Very light and strong hardware. Faster than MacBook Air with a half of the price. Macbook Air is more stable, but with this price, you cant go wrong.

> 24 hourIll start by saying I love the battery life with this computer. It totally lasts an impressive 7 hours more or less. Mobility is easier with its solid, light weight feel. I wasnt sure using a smaller screen & keyboard, but I adapted just fine. The speed and function is great for my use- allot of research , stream movies and manage photos and music library. Have been video conferencing without a glitch. My needs are met with the Acer Swift.

> 24 hourI had my last laptop for 5 years before major issues. I just got this laptop in July. The sound is not working properly. It basically has this crackling sound. I cant use it for sound. I have to use another independent speaker and connect it to bluetooth. It keeps crashing and it keeps freezing up. 6 months in!!! This is ridiculous and I want my money back. I shouldnt have to deal with these issues with a new computer. I never had this issue before with a new computer. Disappointed with this purchase. Would not recommend.

> 24 hourI really just use it for schoolwork, so for that, it works great. The screen doesnt create a glare from lights or the sun, so I can work even by a window without the sun reflecting into my eyes. The backlit keyboard helps to write in the dark. It says it has a touchscreen feature, but I cant seem to be able to turn it on, so Im not sure how well that works

> 24 hourI rarely take the time to write reviews, however I will on this product if it helps others avoid the issues Ive had. First Ill say the laptop is lightweight and easy to use. The main issue Ive experienced within a few months of using it is the laptop simply freezes up VERY frequently. The only way to deal with this issue is to hold down the power button for 10 seconds and ten again to restart the unit. I contacted ACER during my 1 year warranty period and was told I would need to fully reset the unit and go through a lengthy telephone process with them with no guarantee that would fix the issue. After the time it took to get what I wanted and needed onto this laptop I simply resigned myself to back-up all my data and search for a new laptop. Its been about 18 months so far and it still freezes 3-4 times per week or more. Ive read many forums and this seems to be a known issue with the Acer Swift 3 and have tried several of the easier remedies. i am not super computer savvy and wont attempt complicated modifications to a computer. I replaced an old clunky Lenovo that made it 6+ years before freezing issues began and by that time the shell case was beginning to come apart. This would be a very good machine if I didnt have this very frustrating issue. I would rate this product a DONT BUY.
