5 issues in the first week of usage...Returning it

Purchased this as the aspire 5 I wanted with the ryzen 5 4500u sold out literally as I was checking out. Not at all happy that the ram is not upgradeable. Soldering ram is NOT acceptable if not upgrade is possible. Leaving 3 stars as I think this is a decent value but is severely lacking in upgrade options. Not at all happy about that. Might return it.

literally the best laptop for this price. I dont know how Acer can put all these hardware in this laptop and its still $650. we are getting well over $1000 worth of hardware in this laptop. and it has great battery life. great laptop for everyone especially students cuz it can play light games as well. people say the screen is dim but i havent seen it has a problem at all.

Pros:

I wanted a small lightweight laptop with snappy performance. I got it! I would have opted for more RAM if available but have no complaints other than the need for various adapters to mate to my old monitor, external drives, etc. This would apply to most new laptops and will lessen as everything stabilizes to USB-C. Love those cool Ryzen chips! No cooler needed.

This computer is by far the best value I could find for the price.

I was aware of and fine with the screen quality and heat issues, and those have proven to be true. I didnt expect (but should have) expected a whole host of other issues.

I have no complaints at this time.
