> 3 dayI liked the size and weight of the laptop plus the specs are very capable. Most games will play just fine and the battery life is pretty good if you plan to use it away from home. My main con is the screen, I thought it could have been better. It seemed like the contrast was low and the black levels were higher than Id like. The brightness and colors were decent enough. I wouldve also liked to see an SD card slot.

> 3 dayThis laptop is pretty powerful for its size, I do still image and video processing. When plugged in its reasonably fast. Battery life is pretty good un-plugged doing not CPU intensive activities. The screen resolution is acceptable. The screen is very bright, I turn down the brightness a lot in less bright settings.

14-06-2025I bought for interfacing with my embroidery machine and it was not compatible. Too expensive for what I needed.

> 3 dayDecent computer overall it does it’s job. I was expecting a lot more for the $700 but I guess nowadays you’ll never get a quality product unless you drop over $1000

> 3 dayI am accustomed to a more robust use in my laptops. call me old-school I guess. It is not easy to type on with speed or accuracy as the keyboard seems designed for hunt-and-peck. I dont like much about any of the keyboard functions as I use more than the mouse to save time. Theres more, but I will simply put it off to generational differences and this being a product with limited functions that is marketed to a generation of new users. It does hold a charge so I like the battery life and it was highly rated by the tech mags, so I bit. Now, I feel bitten and for the money, burned.

Greater than one weekOver all I really liked this laptop when I first got it, yeah, it seemed thin and light and actually had a at least usable GPU for gaming and even some light VR. Unfortunately, I dont feel it is built to last.

10-06-2025I called Acer support immediately after noticing it would not turn on. They guided me through a few steps, but none that fixed my problem. The support told me that they had received a similar report for this item the 24th of September. For the exact same unit. The same product had been returned and sold again without fixing the problem.
