A.M. Leonard Deluxe Soil Knife, Orange – Hori Hori w/ 6-Inch Stainless Steel Blade

I purchased this based on the recommendation it was good for sod. The serenade edges or not wide enough to cut sod. We put down 7000 sqft of sod and it was horrible. It may be a great soil knife but do not buy this if your intent is to use it for cutting sod, which was my whole reason for this product. I have had a return request in for 2 week with the company and have had no response. Buyer be ware.....

I love this product. This item is comfortable to use, easy to maintain, and effective at cutting through weeds with long roots. Ive successfully use it to pry up deeply rooted weeds, even when they have attached themselves to small rocks. I know that I can use herbicides, but sometimes the weeds are too close to plants or trees that I do not want to harm. Besides, I prefer to go natural. I consider this one of the my best investments for maintaining the garden.

My sister gave me one, and now its my go-to gift for any gardener. SO useful, whether you grow veggies or flowers. Definitely get the deluxe version with a serrated edge and twine cutter.

Handy, sharp, and lightweight. Orange color is easier to find.

My husband uses it for gardening and edging the lawn. He loves the sturdiness and handle grip of it.
