Ill share a picture how far the tang goes to the back of the handle. That in itself is worth a thousand words if amazon review had a minimum character count :) Kidding aside, its very sharp so wear gloves when handling the knife. Left it outside since I bought it and still no sign of any corrosion. Nearly full tang, it ends just where the hanging hole starts

Sharp! Very handy in the flowerbed weeding, digging in gravely soil, opening bags,etc. As a master gardener, its a favorite tool of mine.

My favorite garden tool! I use it for all of my planting and especially appreciate its ability to quickly cut through roots in my perennial beds. Beware, though, the serrated edge is sharp!
