I saw a less expensive garden knife, but the blade was not as sturdy as Leonard knife. Definitely a quality product.

Such a handy tool. Digs weeds and serrated edge is always ready to saw off a little branch or unwanted root. Always my go to tool when I head out to work in the yard.

Superior product. Blade great at digging and serated edge great at cutting even the toughest of root balls.

The serrated blade is quite sharp. I drew the knife from the wholly inadequate paper sheath and bloodied my pinky.

I can’t do without this tool. No more running back to the shed for scissors or trowel. I carry this soil knife in a gardening apron and use it constantly. Need to cut twine or open a bag of mulch? Reach for the soil knife. Have a piece of grass rooted right next to a tomato plant? Use the soil knife to surgically remove it without damaging the tomato. Planting seeds or small seedlings? Use the soil knife to make a small opening, at the perfect depth, and drop it in. The soil knife has inches marked on the blade for easy measuring.

After reading many reviews, I took a chance and ordered this last year. Its very sharp--I use it ALL the time, and love it! I dig, cut small branches, cut old weed fabric out of the garden as I plant new plants/flowers, etc. (By the way, that weed fabric is SO HARD to cut. Be careful if youre planning to use that! Im on the fence about it. It did help me kill a zillion old weeds without chemicals.) Anyway, this tool is highly recommended!

Worth the money. Good gardening tool.

I use this tool for weeding, for digging, for cutting for everything! Always have it with me in the garden.
