Greater than one weekLower power than the competition. Handles any workload I throw at it. Runs multiple VMs and can game at the same time.

> 3 dayThe original label from AMD clearly states it is a 5900X, it is re labeled to be a 5950X. The heat spreader on the CPU itself is labeled 5900X.

> 3 dayI do a lot of H265 encoding and this just blazes. I use a deep cool AK620 fan works almost as good as my Noctua 15 but allows my top slot to be used by my GPU. I run stock no overclock and never exceed 80-85c when Handbrakeing. I know the AM5 on its way but Im good for the next 5 or so years.

> 3 dayWhat can I say? My first custom build PC since 2008. Originally I wanted the 5900x but this one became available and I was lucky to purchase it within 15 seconds of in-stock alert. This thing is absolute beast and will last me for the next 6-8 years for my trading/gaming/WFH purposes. Now I need to get my GFX card and I am set to go.

Greater than one weekUsed to build Intel based HEDTs, but switched to AMD with the 1st gen Ryzen Threadrippers. AMD changed the game and gave us more cores when Intel kept to 4 and over charged and just has been giving us the perf gains per gen that we used to expect. This is my 4th AMD build using Ryzen, I can’t justify Intel in builds given the AMD lineup. This thing is a beast, and can’t believe AMD has done a 16 core CPU that isn’t Threadripper for consumers. This thing is overkill and the price shows AMD has recognized its market position so value isn’t as great as with the 1st gen Ryzens, but more than happy to let AMD enjoy the price premium for ushering in the true high multi core count era. And finally injecting competition into the x86 market again.
