I play this game every day! It’s fun and relaxing. The characters are so cute. Playing with friends is a great feature.

I am a fan of the series and I shave been waiting forever for this game! I know it’s only a day out but there are already so many great changes that I cannot help but to review it. First and foremost, the ability to customize your character is awesome! There are different skin tones, eye shapes, hairstyles, and noses. Admittedly, there aren’t an abundance of options (3 noses, half a dozen hairstyles, 6??? Skin tones— can’t remember) but it’s enough to have some fun. Nook tickets! I thought they were going to be lame like the voucher system on Animal Crossing Pocket Camp but they are actually cool because you can use them to pay off your home, buy things, and probably other stuff I haven’t discovered yet. There are four island layouts to choose from which are quite similar but have a ton of water features which I love (WARNING: there are no bridges so if you plan to build your house somewhere far north you’re not as there is no early access to land blocked off by water). The DYI feature allows you collect cards (ie fishing pole, net, etc.) to learn how to build those items for free after collecting the right amount of items (sticks, weeds, etc). That being said, poles and nets break after time meaning you’ll have to collect more items to build them in Nooks Workshop (free but annoying). Your pockets can hold more too and are automatically grouped together! Overall the game so far is delivering on its promise. Will update.

I really love this game, there is something so relaxing about taking care of a digital island and seeing your villagers! It is majorly addictive too and can take up a majority of your time if you let it. Such a cute game though and it doesn’t promote competition or violence, it’s just a calm game to play when you need to chill.

I absolutely love this game. I play it practically every day and the fun just keeps going! I cant get enough! This is a life simulator and a farm simulator in one. Cute animal villagers. Fun decorations.

Ive been playing every Animal Crossing since the DS version, and this game is considerably ranked above the others in terms of visuals, customization and freedom. I have about 200 hours logged in and loved every second of it. There are of course, as others have mentioned, some quality of life/tedious issues but those dont really bother me as much as the lack of store fronts does, as well as less furniture options as other games. Im hoping that later this year some more updates/dlcs will fix this. Considering the amount of time I played with this game versus its cost point, I would say its absolutely worth it! It really is a perfect game for our unique situation globally with the pandemic going on.

This is a great game! Its a very relaxing, easy way to get lost in a different place while we are all locked down in our towns because of COVID-19. I will list pros and cons: Pros: - Easy mechanics and controls (great for little kids). - Basic goals to complete that encourages exploration and creativity. - Funny and entertaining characters. - Works in real time, so you are forced to be patient. - Free to visit friends islands. - Multiple players live on the same island. - Lots of visitors and potential characters to visit the island (400 I believe). - Family and kid friendly - no bad guys or scary things (unless you count the wasps and tarantulas....). Cons: - You can ONLY have one island per Switch!! - Since there is only one island, all resources are shared. This means that it is possible for one person to hoard all of the resources. DONT HOARD THE TOILET PAPER! - Works in real time, so you are forced to be patient..... Yeah its a pro and con... Overall, this is a great game, and I would HIGHLY recommend it.

Its pretty fun, Im glad I bought it here rather than the digital copy, saved me $10. It can get a little mundane at times which not much to do other than decorate but if thats your thing then youll probably enjoy it. I wish there was some optional in game time that went faster, I dont enjoy it going by real time and constantly having to time travel to get anything done.

I love animal crossing new horizons. It is such a great game.

Escape to a deserted island and create your own paradise as you explore, create, and customize in the Animal Crossing: New Horizons game. Your island getaway has a wealth of natural resources that can be used to craft everything from tools to creature comforts. You can hunt down insects at the crack of dawn, decorate your paradise throughout the day, or enjoy sunset on the beach while fishing in the ocean. The time of day and season match real life, so each day on your island is a chance to check in and find new surprises all year round.

Show off your island utopia to family and friends—or pack your bags and visit theirs. Whether playing online or with others beside you, island living is even better when you can share it. Even without hopping on a flight, you’ll meet a cast of charming animal residents bursting with personality. Friendly faces like Tom Nook and Isabelle will lend their services and happily help you grow your budding community. Escape to your island getaway—however, whenever, and wherever you want.
