Bissell TurboClean PowerBrush Pet Carpet Cleaner, 2987,Green/ Black

I love this carpet cleaner. I can’t believe all of the dirt it removed. This unit is lightweight and easy to assemble and quick to clean. To me, it’s just as good as the professional machine we used to rent, but it’s much easier to use and clean. Can’t wait to use the attachment on my furniture.

Before I bought the Bissell TurboClean PowerBrush Pet Carpet Cleaner, 2987,Green/ Black, I was a normal person. A normal person with a dark secret. You see, my carpets were always dirty. For some reason, stains took to my carpets like moths to a flame, college students to a bar, women to broken men…you get the idea. Stains and my carpet were intertwined, inseparable, and indissoluble. I spent hours strategizing how to clean these carpets. A normal vacuum would inevitably give up, choking on the mess of cat hair, litter, and who knows what else. I spent hours contemplating what to do. Some days I would take a broom and brush all the gunk off. I bought every pet stain remover and deodorizer the grocery store had to offer. More often than not, I was left with an immovable stain outlined by white residue–which would in turn become part of the landscape of my carpet. I was despondent. Nothing was working. I was doomed to my perennial fear: a house that smelled like “cat”. You know the smell. I could feel it clinging to my clothes. God forbid I ever drop an article of clothing on the floor. I feared dropping food on the floor, knowing that it would render the food unfit for human consumption. I bought a Bissell vacuum a while back, and while it cleaned my carpet of the top layer of filth, I knew I needed something that would reach deeper. Something that would claw its way to the depths of my carpets and purify them of every morsel of dirt to ever sully them. I stared at the screen and thought to myself: my life as I know it is about to be upheaved. Ecstatic, I placed the order for the Bissell and the pet stain and odor removing fluid. A few fateful days later, and I had the package in hand. The setup was simple, even for a person like me, who once cooked spaghetti wrong. The instructions, with clear visual guides, resulted in something beautiful: a Bissell. But there was still work to be done. Determined, I filled the clean water tank with appropriately hot water and the correct proportion of fluid. I plugged the Bissell in and took a deep breath. This was the moment of truth. I pressed down on the scarlet on button and was greeted with a resonant “vroom”. I pressed the nozzle and swiped back and forth. And then I did it again. I could see the dirty water piling up with each swipe, frothing in the bottom of the Bissell. Frenzied, I cleaned one room after another, marveling at the murky color of the water. When I finished, I looked around and felt my soul lift up. My carpets were finally clean. An easy, affordable carpet cleaning machine that gets the job done. I would recommend this to my friends, family, strangers on the street, and even my enemies. Because no one should have dirty carpets. My wedding vows will not be “I do”, but rather “I Bissell”.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well this lifted the dirt and stains.from my carpet. I have a rescue dog who has separation anxiety so he pees and this machine cleaned that too. The downside to this machine is that the holding tanks are rather small so you can only clean a very small area before having to empty the dirty tank and refill the clean tank. I also wish this had a wand or extension to clean closer to the walls and couches.

I used this Bissell in my area rug in den. I have 3 dogs and 10 grandkids.I live in GA. Red mud and clay. Works like a champ Pulls all the grind in dirt up. Mud, spills and doggie accidents I have bought two of these. First one my daughters borrowed and never brought back.lol So got another one clean constantly with it . Excellent size and price. Not to heavy to push either. The container started leaking alittle but I use alot. Would be nice to have an opening on top to just pour it in also. Good buy holds up well.

Got the Bissell Shampooer & used the next day, I have 2 cats and a small amount of carpet it worked so well just like using a vaccum ckeaner very pleased & the price was exellent

I like this shampoo vacuum very much, it works great. and for what it cost it’s a great value for the money no complaints there. The one thing I dislike is the capacity of the dirty water tank, it doesn’t hold as much as you think based on appearance because the full line is only about 3 inches up despite the tank being much larger. I guess it’s designed that way to prevent liquid being sucked into the impeller itself, so the float valve stack has to be made tall enough. Despite that small inconvenience it’s a really good machine just take time and don’t go too fast so as to give the vacuum time to suck up as much liquid as possible out of the carpet, mostly in the pull back stroke, thereby reducing the time the carpet or rug will take to dry.

I love this shampooer it is the first I e ever had that sprays out good but also pulls the water back out of the carpet. AND your carpet looks clean. And not a bad price tag either look at my white carpet again. Easy to use WOW!!! I LOVE IT!!!

I bought this to see how it would clean an area that the dog lies continuously and leaves soiled. It does a very nice job and is easy to use . The suction seems adequate as the carpet does not feel really wet when finished and the pet odor product has a nice smell. It is small enough to store easily and does the job . The tank is not especially large and has to be emptied frequently but easy enough to do. I am satisfied with this product.

This isn’t a carpet shampooer, it’s a MIRACLE worker. Most of my house is tile and laminate but there is carpet in my bedroom, office and then there is this 7x10 rug in the living room. I purchased the rug secondhand on market place and it needed a deep clean. My other carpet cleaner stopped working and I was desperately in need for a fix for this rug (as you can see in the photos). I have three dogs that shed like it’s their only job on this earth. I literally vacuumed over this rug non stop for 25-30 minutes straight making sure that I got it as clean as possible before shampooing. AND YET the shampooer pulled up hair that the vacuum couldn’t quite get!!! Pros: - I love that it is light weight and doesn’t hurt my back at all to use. - It is super easy to put together/ very user friendly. - It obviously does the job it was intended to do. - A little spray goes a long way for each spot. - The suction was strong enough that my carpet was barely damp at all after going over it a few times. Cons: - The formula tank is small and I had to refill it a second time just doing the 7x10 foot rug. - I wish the cord was just a smidge longer. - It didn’t completely remove stain. (However it was ketchup and it did better than I expected. So honestly I can’t really be upset at this). Overall, this is a GREAT investment and for the price I don’t believe you can find a better product. Do yourself a favor and buy this one. I went back and forward on a different option before buying this and I am SOOO glad I did.

Pet messes are a package deal when it comes to owning a cat or dog or any pet that is capable of puking or peeing or pooping on the floor. This carpet cleaner works very well and is super simple to use. Its got a small tank so it doesnt take long to fill up. Its not intended to scrub the whole house so dont expect it do so unless you plan on continuously emptying the reservoir multiple times. It is specifically for spot clean up. It works very well and is easy to take apart to clean after each use. No more stress of stains or smells after your pet has an accident. The Bissell carpet cleaner will take care of it.
