Before I bought the Bissell TurboClean PowerBrush Pet Carpet Cleaner, 2987,Green/ Black, I was a normal person. A normal person with a dark secret. You see, my carpets were always dirty. For some reason, stains took to my carpets like moths to a flame, college students to a bar, women to broken men…you get the idea. Stains and my carpet were intertwined, inseparable, and indissoluble. I spent hours strategizing how to clean these carpets. A normal vacuum would inevitably give up, choking on the mess of cat hair, litter, and who knows what else. I spent hours contemplating what to do. Some days I would take a broom and brush all the gunk off. I bought every pet stain remover and deodorizer the grocery store had to offer. More often than not, I was left with an immovable stain outlined by white residue–which would in turn become part of the landscape of my carpet. I was despondent. Nothing was working. I stared at the screen and thought to myself: my life as I know it is about to be upheaved. Ecstatic, I placed the order for the Bissell and the pet stain and odor removing fluid. A few fateful days later, and I had the package in hand. The setup was simple, even for a person like me, who once cooked spaghetti wrong. The instructions, with clear visual guides, resulted in something beautiful: a Bissell. But there was still work to be done. Determined, I filled the clean water tank with appropriately hot water and the correct proportion of fluid. I plugged the Bissell in and took a deep breath. This was the moment of truth. I pressed down on the scarlet on button and was greeted with a resonant “vroom”. I pressed the nozzle and swiped back and forth. And then I did it again. I could see the dirty water piling up with each swipe, frothing in the bottom of the Bissell. Frenzied, I cleaned one room after another, marveling at the murky color of the water. When I finished, I looked around and felt my soul lift up. My carpets were finally clean. An easy, affordable carpet cleaning machine that gets the job done. I would recommend this to my friends, family, strangers on the street, and even my enemies. Because no one should have dirty carpets. My wedding vows will not be “I do”, but rather “I Bissell”.

We bought this to help with spot cleaning after the pets and kids between professional carpet cleanings. For that purpose, it was incredibly effective and efficient. After cleaning up a few spots, there was still cleaner in the tank, so I decided to try and clean one of our rugs. It was so far gone that I figured trying to clean it couldnt hurt. To my delight and surprise, this machine breathed new life into the rug! It went from grey and seemingly faded to the beautiful blues and greys that inspired me to buy it in the first place. And better yet, the whole thing took only about 20 minutes. Like others have said, the tank is small. I cant imagine trying to do a whole room or a particularly egregious job with this. It seems perfect for spot cleaning and the occasional rug, not as a replacement for getting our rugs professionally done once or twice a year.

This product is amazing. We just moved into our new apartment and after putting our area rug down from our old apartment, we noticed that our dog had soiled the same area repeatedly, but now we were able to smell the stench. I tried so many thing to get rid of it and finally bought this unit. Let me tell you, it did wonders and removed the pee stains and to our surprise, picked up so much dirt!!! Highly recommend this to apartment renters who need an apartment friendly carpet cleaner! 10/10

I received this thing on February 14, 2023 to replace a competitors machine that broke after only a few uses (I know. I should have read the reviews, but it was a very popular, trusted brand, so I trusted them. Silly me!) Well, this one did the same thing. It worked perfectly when it worked, but this morning I went to use it and it died. It smelled like rubber burning and then made a wretched noise so I turned it off. I called Bissell since it was past the return to Amazon date and they were awesome! They said theyd send me a new one to replace it and I didnt have to beg, threaten or plead with them to make things right. I asked if I could pay for an upgrade instead of getting the same one, but they said Id have to talk to Amazon about that, so Ill do that and, hopefully, I can pay the difference and get a sturdier model. Either way, Im very impressed with their customer service and, if the new shampooer works, Ill be even happier!!

I’ve been researching for the best carpet cleaner, reading reviews and comparing. Finally decided on this one and I do not regret it. I love this carpet cleaner. Con: small water tank. But way more pros than cons especially for the price. It has great suction and it cleans so good. I just received it today and did the entire apartment. I love it!

My dog threw up dark brown food on the floor yesterday and left dark stains on the carpet so I needed something quick as my $170 hoover broke after 6 months! Smfh the Bissell worked GREAT!!! And even though its smaller than the hoover I prefer it. Easier to use all around and fits in spaces the hoover couldnt. You will have to stop and go more frequently bc its smaller but the results are worth it. Completely removed the stains but thats not what this review is about. I closed on my house back in June 2022 and we had gray carpet...over time it started to look beige to me...so after spot cleaning my dogs vomit I noticed it was extremely light in that spot...so I was like wth? Did this solution possibly bleach my carpet? I decided to do a larger area and realized my carpet was restored BACK to the original grey we had when we first moved in. It had just gotten THAT dirty smh. I have an untouched room in my house (havent decided what to do with it yet) so the carpet is still brand new, thats the third pic. Compare that pic to the other 2 pics where I did a clean. Im about to order more pro max clean+protect solution!!! I noticed 1 con though, if you let the machine just sit on the carpet while running without pushing it back and forth it will try to dig into the carpet so dont do that as theres a chance it could rip your carpet. Update: puppy just threw up ...see before and after pics :) I cant believe I came back to this review to update it to show yall how good this thing works. Again, GET THIS NOW!!!

I was genuinely shocked to see this simple carpet cleaner work so well in these times where everything is convoluted and turned upside down due to corporate greed. Regardless it is easily worth the money.

This has no bells or whistles and I didnt have high hopes when I opened the package and saw how small and flimsy it looked. But I was pleasantly surprised with the results! Ive only used it 1 time, so I dont know how long it will last, but it did a pretty good job getting all the dirt out of the 1 area rug I have. The cleaning solution that came with it worked great with no residue left behind!

My carpet is very old but with 2 old dogs, I’m not ready to change it now. The carpet cleaner worked great, dried fast, and left my carpet soft. I used solution recommended with cleaner. I was very happy for the results and price.

Hot tip- make sure to move very, very slowly over the sprayed area so the machine can suck up as much nasty fluid as possible. This is the best purchase Ive made in a long time. Thank you!
