Classic Messenger Bag - Durable, Water-Resistant, fits 13, 15, 17 Laptop

This bag is the perfect size for a day outing in NYC. Its perfect for male and female. My boyfriend uses it when he has to walk or commute to work. I have no complaints, but his only complaint is that it would be better if the straps were reversible for either the left or right shoulder. But I have no problem with it. I love all the pockets the bag has too!

This is my third and likely last Timbuk2 bag. They used to be great bags. This seems like one of those cases where some kid straight out of grad school made some cost saving recommendations. Less colors to choose from. Lots of missing features in earlier bads. It feels a lot smaller although in theory it is the same size. Not a bad bag, just not nearly as great as they used to be.

I bought the small size, which is perfect for my needs. The pockets, zippers, velcro, and compartments are all really well thought out. The small size holds enough that I can use it when I travel as my carry on, or I can use it to carry all the stuff my purse usually carries, plus my lunch, a water bottle, and a travel mug, and it still has room for more.

Love this bag! Holds all I need for a day in a compact, organised way, and its comfortable to wear when full and heavy.

If this bag had an outside zipper compartment I would have given it 5 stars!

There are a ton of reviews up, so Ill just make a quick note on the size. I got the small and for a 510 185lbs guy, the small fits me like a ninja pack but holds enough stuff to work well. It in no way looks like a man purse.

In 2013 I purchased a timbuk2 messenger bag and have used it nearly daily ever since. Road trips, flying, and schlepping it around campus for 10 years of teaching. I thought after a decade it was time to replace it, and I was disappointed. The new bag feels lower quality, and the buckle broke the first week I used it. Im looking into other brands.

This is an amazing bag. I have other messenger type bags, but this one is by far better thought out and executed then they are.
