> 24 hourThis is by no means the most expertly constructed electronics case. It has a few loose stitches around the game entry area and the quality of the internal materials isnt stellar. But for less than $10, this is a fantastic buy to protect the Vita. Mine didnt smell at all like some people have said. I removed the straps as I didnt really see the point in them personally. Seems like a matter of opinion and how you will use the case that will dictate whether you keep them. Its not a super fancy case, but it for sure gets the job done on the cheap. Other than that, a great case that I would highly recommend.

> 24 hourI had read other reviews regarding this product... some reviews stated that the case had a really pungent odor that was so bad that the product needed to be returned. This was not the case with mine & it was the first thing that was paying attention too when I opened the package. I sniffed around the box before opening & it didnt smell so I pulled open a corner & still didnt smell anything... I pulled it out of the box & took a HUGE wiff right on the case... nothing, just the normal weird from factory new fabric smell... I dont even smell that anymore & I have had it for a week or so now. The other thing people complain about the elastics inside that hold the Vita in place. people have cut these off as they do not like them... this I feel is a preference, I personally like them. They stretch enough that I can get the Vita out without to much difficulty or damage to the system. They are tight enough that they hold the system in place comfortably. People say they tug on the analog sticks when they try to take the system out of the case but I dont find this to be an issue. I pull up on the elastic while grabbing the bottom corner of the system & put the elastic behind that side of the system I then lift the other elastic & slide out the system towards the side I already pulled the elastic off of. So again this is preference as to whether or not you want to snip them out. The case itself is nice quality & I feel if I dropped it from about waist high no damage would come to my Vita. The flap inside has space for a few games &/or Memory Cards... however I do find that these slots are a little to big for the Memory Card alone without some sort of small case (like what the SD Cards come in)... games have no issue fitting. There is a netting on the inside as well for small accessories... but not the AC adaptor... maybe a USB Cable and some ear buds are all that would fit. I personally have not used this section yet. All in all I find this to be a good purchase for the price as it is good quality, I feel it protects my system, & like that it has some space for some games &/or Memory Cards. I definitly give this product 5 Stars. Good price, good product.

> 24 hourTried Frebreze, that didnt do much, tried just airing it out, nada, put a dryer sheet in it and that sorta worked actually, but soaking it in the sink with dish soap for a whole day really seems to have worked. It smells like soap now, and maybe that heinous stench is still there, but its certainly masked to the point where it smells good-to-odd instead of outright bad. It was a very weird smell whatever it was, nothing like new shoes or whatever, was really pungent and foul. The pockets for the games were sewn shut on the wrong end based on the pictures, but you can still get games in them. Not sure if theyre secure or not since I only have one physical game at the moment, but it seems like itll work. I havent cut the elastic bands out yet, but they dont seem necessary; I havent used them but I think removing them might cause the Vita to slide around a bit inside. If it wasnt for the smell I wouldve given it 4 stars, and then 5 if the game pockets werent sewn in wrong. Its the kind of thing that some people seemed to have really lucked out on.

> 24 hourPros: *Easy to use and get started *Runs relatively fast *You can download games when connected to the internet Cons: *The internet does not work at locations where you need to sign in or agree to user terms (hotels, starbucks, etc) *Holding the device is not comfortable after a few hours *The Playstation network and login is silly and overly complex

> 24 hourI bought this case to protect my PS Vita when Im not using it. The case itself works fine with the Vita is resting inside it, but inside the case is another story. The flap that will hold your games doesnt keep them very snug, so if you open the case to quickly or if its dropped your games will fall out. There are two straps that hold the PS Vita in place, and the first time I pulled on them to slide the Vita underneath, one of the straps broke. I wasnt even pulling that hard. This isnt a terrible case - Its stll usable even with one broken strap, but if you wanted a really nice Vita case I would suggest you look elsewhere.

> 24 hourok ive read reviews on this and every one was saying that it sucks but i like it. first: yes it does have a smell but its not as strong as everyone was saying. put some nugs in there and it will be good!!! second: everyone was complaining about the straps and how they mess with the sticks or cover the screen. they dont im not going to cut them off. they are a pain in the butt to get the vita out of the case but thats what their there for so and third: the game slots are for games not memory cards way to big for a memory card if your going to keep one put it under the ps vita. it holds my vita few games and my cord for my beats so i like it

> 24 hourI got this baby cheap. As long as it kept my VITA screen unscratched, it was doing a good job. And it did. This case is not the best at holding your VITA while playing it at the same time. I have the version 3 with a OLED and I found that the straps cut off the sides of the screen. I found this case way more effective for holding a glass pipe and other stuff. It has good padding and seals in any unwanted smells. Plus everyone thinks there is a VITA inside. For 10 dollars, this is a must buy.

> 24 hourvery inexpensive travel case. I just needed something that wouldnt take up much more space than the Vita (I have the PS Vita 1000), and this works well. I really dont care for the two elastic straps that hold the Vita in the case. You cant use the vita while in the case, so the straps are a bit annoying when removing the Vita (they seem to always snag on one of the joysticks). If you are a klutz, you may appreciate the elastic straps. Otherwise, its easy enough to cut the straps if you dont like them.

> 24 hourIts generally a good case; nothing too fancy. Fits the Vita 2000/slim well, is fairly sturdy, and at a decent price. The inside straps arent very useful, as its very difficult to get the Vita in/out of them, but they also arent necessary. The downside: a STRONG chemical smell. I saw other reviews mention it before buying, but figured it wasnt a big deal. However, after multiple dryer sheets and liberal use of febreeze, the smell is still there. It even clings to the Vita itself for quite a while after removing it from the case. Its not the end of the world, but is bothersome enough to make me consider another case.

> 24 hourGreat case, has space for cables and cards, even additional stuff like metro or credit cards if you want. The Vita fits perfectly, actually a bit too well: it can be a bit tricky to get it out of the case sometimes. Not impossible but not super easy neither. At least that way its super secured. I have not dropped it by it feels sturdy and would protect the Vita if I dropped it so I feel good knowing I store it here. Great as well to have when you carry the vita in a backpack or bag with lots of other stuff, you dont have to worry about it being scratched or dented or compressed.
