The extension is a great accessory for the CTEK battery charger I purchased. Make the reach from the charger to the car battery more versatile!

Overall a completely solid productd, high quality manufacturing, and gives me the extra length I need, exactly as descxribed. That said it is pricy for what it is, and there arent any alternatives. However in the big picture it is a tiny cost compared to all the other things one buys for maintaining a classic sports car.

Once the extension cable was connected to the CTEK eyelet or CTEK clamp it did not work. I purchased two different extension cables and both were inoperable. Unfortunately, l had to return both extension cables. When I connected CTEK charger directly to eyelet or clamps NO issues.

Ctek battery maintainers are a must have if you store a summer ride. The extension plug allows flexibility in where you place the unit. Most people that I know that use one do not want to store the unit on the car in case it were to malfunction and heat up. The extension cord is built with the same standard for quality.

It is a great addition to my CTEK charger. Easy to use and a great value.

Works with both of my CTEK chargers and makes them more convenient to connect in the garage. The wire, however, is unusually stiff and almost awkward in this application. It is much stiffer that typical stranded copper or stranded copper-clad wire, almost like solid wire as it holds shape when bent or coiled.

I own 2 of these cables. Neither one works right. I have a CTEK MXS 5.0 charger that I use to maintain my 2 AGM car batteries. In fact, I like the charger so much I bought a second one. I dont know if its the connectors or the cable itself, but when its used with this charger, the charger will get stuck in DESULFATION mode at the beginning of the program and take nearly forever to progress, if at all. Maybe theres some resistance or a bad connector faking out the chargers voltage sensing, but I just cant use this cable with it. Ive tried snugging up the connectors and using an anti-ox compound to help with resistance, but no luck. I dont recommend anyone purchase this item if you use a CTEK MXS 5.0 at least. I just hook it up straight to the comfort pigtails that are installed on both my auto batteries with no issues, so theres something wrong with this particular extension cable.

Got this to go with new Ctek for my NSX with connections under front hood. Easier to connect using this & keep Ctek up away from ground & car.
