CTEK (56-304) Comfort Connect Extension Cable, 8.2 Feet

Easy hookup & just the right length in my garage. Purchased with 12 v adapter & CTEK charger.

It does exactly what I wanted, not have to lift the cover to get to plug it in. It would be nice if it can shorter, nothing zip ties cant fix.

Perfect extension for easier access when charging.

I like these comfort connects over the old school sae connector. When I swapped to my lithium battery I wanted it to be obvious so I remember not to use my old battery tenders with my lithium battery so this is perfect. This extension could be longer but it will do I suppose.

I was a little disappointed that the wire used is pretty stiff for the duty. Im a little concerned that flexing in service here will lead to premature failure. It hasnt failed yet (too early to tell). I was expecting the wire conductors to be the same more flexible materials used for the maintainers, and its definitely different. It may never be an issue, depending on how many disconnect, hang the cable, then reconnect cycles it has to endure in my service. It is as advertised. But, it is only 8 feet long. I need a much longer cable. They can easily make a 15 foot cable with thicker wire.

I dislike how stiff it is but looks like a good quality, I use it as my trickle charging on my Lexus IS 300 Hybrid and it is thin enough that I can CLOSE the trunk on the cable without any damage to the seal.

Works great. Clicks nicely and securely. It extends the battery connection to outside the trunk space so the charger can be more conveniently located. The cable did not affect how the charger senses the voltage or charges the battery. I highly recommend this product.
