Dakine Baja Surf Tie Down Straps 12Ft

We bought these to secure our SUP board and kayak. They are durable and offer extra protection where the buckle rests against the board. I highly recommend these tie down straps!

Not what is pictured. The buckles do not have the neoprene/foam protection that is shown in the photo. Protection on the buckles is really worth something when you toss a buckle and it hits the window or car body. Nothing wrong with these straps but they are not what is pictured in the product ad.

Definitely recommend these. I have a full size pickup, and a big family. We use these to tie down our surfboards to the rack on my truck, and they work great. They never come loose! Bought two sets.

I was using straps I got at the hardware store. These are just a little wider and thicker strap. I like the padding around the buckle but would like the padding to completely cover buckle for when Im sliding the buckle across my SUP boards to the other side. They often clink on the roof of my car. Maybe I will try a wash cloth and rubber band. These are long enough to strap 1 or 2 SUP boards to my cars roof bars. Too short to do 3 boards I think. Over all I am quite happy with these straps.

This is the second set Ive bought. They are the BEST STRAPS EVER. Super durable, strong, quality materials and easy to use. I use them to tie down 3 surfboards and 1 standup paddle board on the top of my Tacoma and they work perfectly every time. They never loosen or slip. The padding under the buckle is great and protects my boards from the buckle itself. I like how wide the straps are too. Highly recommend them. You cant go wrong with Dakine.
