> 3 dayI like the fact that it’s small enough to fit in my hand, and the fact that it works better than any of the other I have

> 3 dayAbsolutely worth every penny and then some! Dont bother with the cheap ones, your time and sanity are more valuable than the money youll save. This tool takes some of the headache out of the job, and will definitely save you time. Be sure to clean and lubricate it after each use to keep maintain peak performance.

> 3 dayDid not know that I needed one of these, but I definitely did. Replacing relay on my dryer control board, and with a good solder gun and this, the joints came apart perfectly and allowed the relay to come right out.

> 3 dayThis is a nice middle ground unit between a cheap desoldering blub (squeeze bulb) and a much more expensive desoldering iron. If you want something more effective then a clumsy bulb, which is bulbus, wiggles as you squeeze it, and has weak suction, but cant justify the cost of a real desoldering iron, this is perfect. It is slim, easy to use, fast, and it really works. It is made of aluminum (not plastic) and is not made in China! A rarity these days. The packaging clearly states it is made in Japan and, based on the quality (and the Japanese all over the packaging), I believe it. As others have stated it is not perfect. If you are removing a lot of solder it will fill up fairly quickly. Ejecting the solder is normally a simple task of depressing the plunger fully and pulling away or knocking off what comes out. Ive gotten proficient at doing this with one hand. That said, the solder sometimes forms into long, stringy chunks that get caught in the unit. When this happens you have to unscrew it to fully clean it. Not a huge deal but it does happen. If you are desoldering a lot of stuff, like recycling the components from circuit boards a lot, then you should probably invest in a real desoldering tool. For someone like me, that is just noodling around on small projects and hasnt yet mastered the art of soldering it is perfect. It allows me to clean up and fix my happy little accidents with less frustration then the bulb I was previously using.

> 3 dayMachining is precise--feels like handling a micrometer. Heat resistance really comes from expendable silicone tubing tips, but it works. Cooled solder comes out in plugs. The internal spring is so strong that when you release it to suck solder, the recoil make it challenging to hold the tip just where you need it. This is NOT criticism of the product; the strength of the spring contributes to maximum vacuum. I am just pointing out that, as with anything, it requires some practice to use effectively.

> 3 dayAlthough there is a learning curve to using this device, once you get it down, it works like a charm! Highly recommend if you arent looking to spend a lot on a machine.

> 3 daySeems well made and durable. I applied spray on white lithium grease to the inside of the nozzle and cylinder. I did not have any trouble with solder sticking and it was ejected on the first try. Suction was excellent along with the heat resistance. I run my iron at about 550F. Very pleased with my purchase.

> 3 dayThis is on the expensive side but Im still happy buying it because it really works sucks pretty well and best of all, light and not too long. Dont look for other brand, I think this is the best brand you can get for the price.

> 3 dayI just finished removing a dozen components, resistors, caps and a dip socket. I was surprised & impressed with the quick ease of use of this Japan made solder sucker tool. Its small for its size but its very effective. Before this one- I used a blue.yellow Velloman model and always got iffy results. Nylon tips are just too awkward.. Plastic construction hindered maintaining a vacuum draw. Never liked them...This Tool is metal, high quality. Always develops a vacuum. Very well made. Of course you have to clean out the tip like any other tool but its a breeze with this one. I recommend this Tool to anyone, you wont regret the decision.

> 3 dayThis is one of those things that when you use for the first time you wonder how you ever lived without it. This and a desoldering braid should handle all your desoldering needs... A+
