> 3 dayI saw some reviews about people dealing with clogging issues. The best way I found to avoid that is right after you suck up some solder, wait about 5 seconds before pumping out the solder. The solder forms in the shape of the tube and you can just pull it out in one piece.

Greater than one weekOne of my coworkers had one of these but I couldnt justify paying four times the cost of the usual plastic junk Ive been using successfully for years. But, Ive been trying to improve my home lab and I thought Hey, why not? Now, I love it and Ill never go back to a $6 piece of junk. This thing is solid, and it works great. The silicone trunk does a great job of sealing around through holes and, despite being soft and pliable, it is tough and very heat resistant. Be careful to keep the extra length of tubing provided. I almost threw mine away. It looks good for three or four replacements.

> 3 dayWill need to clean between sucks, but you get used to it. This is still a better, cleaner pull than your standard sucker or using copper wick.

15-06-2025This desoldering tool works well for the occasional quick job. The silicone tip lets you get right on top of the iron resulting in a very clean result. Very happy with this tool so far.

> 3 dayI have went through a few manual desolder pumps and the biggest issue I had was the build quality. Most are plastic and while they get the job done, they degrade over time. Then you have high end desoldering guns that are the best option, but you dont really need them for small size projects... So what is the solution? This device! A happy medium between cheap plastic pumps and expensive desoldering guns. This by far is the highest quality manual pump I have purchased. - Its fully metal. - Its smaller and more compact so it sits comfortably in your hand. - Its easy to push the plunger down with one hand so you dont get fatigued using this for long periods of time. - The thing that really makes this device shine is the silicone nozzle. It is flexible and wraps around your solder to maximize the suction power. It absolutely makes a difference and saves so much time. - It also comes with replacement tubing so you can cut and replace your own nozzles. This is something that the cheaper pumps do not have. All around, if you are looking to get a quality desoldering pump for smaller projects and dont need a full blown desoldering gun... skip the cheap 8-10 dollar pumps and spend a little more on a quality device.

> 3 daySimply an awesome product. I bought this unit because I was restoring a vintage electronic synthesizer from the 80s and needed this tool to suck the old solder off the motherboard after desoldering. Works PERFECT. Quality built too. Will not die on you anytime soon.

Greater than one weekThis is a well made pump. My only complaint is the release button is requires a good amount of pressure to activate. This cause me to move my hand which takes the nozzle away from the solder blob. Takes a few tries to get it

> 3 dayGreat little pump that’s got some horsepower under the hood. As others have said, solder will clog the silicon nozzle and will melt over whatever your trying to desolder if you don’t pay attention. The piston does clear the tube when depressing the pump, but it doesn’t clean it all out. The top may just need to be trimmed, but I think the problem is due to the hot material lodging itself into the tube and then cooling. Either way it’s a decent tool.

> 3 dayThis is a well made solder sucker, it is important to understand how to evacuate the sucker after you suck a solder blob up. I have found that you need to quickly push the handle back down to repair-cock the solder sucker and expel any solder out of the tip. I did use some high temp grease on the plunger and tip to help keep the tip clear of solder debris.
