Greater than one weekWonderful product compared to any other I have used. This is a MUST HAVE for any technician. Great as a gift for someone you may know that does repair work on electronics. Ive only used it a couple weeks but its easy to see/feel that this is a major upgrade from your standard solder sucker. Its relatively small, and yet has excellent vacuum, its thick, all metal construction lets you know that it will be of service for a very long time.

> 3 dayThis is one of the best suckers Ive owned. The material on this thing is all metal, no plastic! yes, it cost $27 which is a lot but my god the Japanese can make one of the best products. When I got the product and feel it, my god one of the best. Again the only downside is the price but again, all metal and no plastic and it one of the best suckers I owned, yes Ill pay that much!

> 3 dayPreviously the red cap would easily spin off the threaded top by accident while fiddly with the device. They now use some glue or something and it doesnt spin off anymore. Everything else is the same. The machined aluminium body has a lovely matte finish and feels great in hand. You can easily both press the button and reset the plunger without shifting your grip. More importantly, the silicone tubing is soft and temperature resistant which means you can press it into the the solder and touch the iron tip and usually get most of it up with a single draw.

> 3 dayI liked the small size compared to my older solder sucker. Even though its half the size, it still generates enough suction to remove quite a bit of solder each time. Much of this can be contributed to the soft, silicon tip. This allows a better seal, especially if you are clearing out through holes. That being said, be prepared to constantly clean that tip as it will quickly get clogged. Though I just now get used to cleaning it after each use. Small price to pay for such a great little sucker....

> 3 dayGET SOME DIELECTRIC GREASE You need to grease the plunger for a better seal, but once you do that, its an absolutely fantastic solder sucker. A bit pricey, but small and easy to reach the plunger, flexible tip really makes up for the lack of suction capacity. Only gripe is that it fills up much faster than other suckers Ive used, but in return, it doesnt spit flakes of solder and flux on what youre working on and the amount of solder it consistently picks up is enough to easily pull out the solder waste with tweezers.

> 3 dayThis is a well made pump. My only complaint is the release button is requires a good amount of pressure to activate. This cause me to move my hand which takes the nozzle away from the solder blob. Takes a few tries to get it

09-06-2025This was an absolutely perfect product until I desoldered the first half of my keyboard. It was working flawlessly but then the solder started sticking on the tip. So I took out the front part to clean it, put it back together, and now it has about 1/4th the sucking power. Now it wont fully suck the solder and its basically useless. Its so frustrating because it was working so well!!
