> 24 hourUsing this to create 1 inch chamfers on newel posts. Red Oak that is still very wet (12% moisture <) Took my time using Bosch 2.25 hp router and stepping between cuts slowly. Took some time to figure out correct speed setting on the router to keep the bit spinning (cutting) when engaged with over .5 inch of material being cut. Would buy again if needed.

> 24 hourI always am pleased with everything I have bought made by freud. When used correctly it works as advertised. I will buy other freud router bits and saw blades.

> 24 hourI have used Freud and other brands of router bits. Freud is near the top of the list. They are sharper and last longer than almost all other router bits. Because of this they are a good value.

> 24 hourI used this to bevel 50 six foot long, 3/4” thick redwood pickets. I was pleasantly surprised to find the bit still going strong even after cutting through plenty of knotholes.

> 24 hourI used this bit to contour the edges of a set tables with tops made of 5/4 sugar maple. Worked perfectly. Cut cleanly with no burn. This is a big bit! I had to make a custom plate for my Porter Cable handheld router to accommodate the bits diameter. I was concerned that the fixed speed of the router was too fast for this size bit. It was not a problem. Other reviews indicate that the bit is so big that its dangerous. Just slow down the feed rate, make successive shallow cuts and everyone will be fine.
